Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Top Dawg Tavern reads like someone photographed the end-cap at a Kroger and called it a drinks menu. Sixteen labels, zero surprises, and a selection that hasn't changed its thinking in a long time. If you came here for wine, you may have taken a wrong turn.
Every label here is a household name in the worst possible sense — Canyon Road, Apothic, Carnivor, Mark West. These are mass-produced wines engineered for maximum familiarity and minimum friction, not for any particular joy in the glass. There's a token nod to Italy with DaVinci Chianti and two Gabbiano offerings, and Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc is probably the most credible bottle on the list. Otherwise, this is a lineup built for people who order wine the way they order a Bud Light — by brand recognition alone. No natural wines, no regional discoveries, no independent producers anywhere in sight.
The list doesn't specify which bottles are available by the glass versus bottle only, so it's hard to know what your actual poured options are on any given night. Given the labels involved, the distinction may not matter much. Pricing by the glass is not published, which makes it impossible to assess value at the pour level.
The Bottom Line
Top Dawg Tavern is almost certainly a fine place for a beer and a burger — but the wine list is an afterthought dressed up as a menu section. With no pricing transparency, no interesting producers, and a roster pulled straight from the grocery store middle shelf, there's nothing here to get excited about. Order a craft beer, skip the wine list entirely, and come back when they give it some love.

Kome isn't building a destination wine program, but they're doing enough right to drink well here — especially if you dig past the familiar labels. The markups ask you to pay for the ambiance, but the Taurasi and the local Grüner are genuine finds worth the trip.

Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works is a genuinely great brewpub doing a lot of things right — wine just isn't one of them. Come for the craft beer, skip the wine list, and nobody gets hurt.

The Goosemen is a perfectly decent place to eat a burger and drink a beer — but the wine list is a cash grab dressed up as a menu. The Wednesday half-price bottle promotion is the only reason to think about wine here at all; on any other night, order something from the tap.

Copperhead Grille is a perfectly fine sports bar where you should order a beer. If it has to be wine, show up on a Monday when the by-the-glass options are half price — that's the only math here that makes sense.

Tre Scalini isn't trying to be a wine destination, but the Italian-focused list is coherent, fairly priced, and punches above its Bethlehem zip code. If you're eating pasta this good, you owe it to the meal to drink something Italian alongside it.

Apollo Grill won't earn a wine destination reputation, but for downtown Bethlehem, it's doing the job honestly — fair prices, more glass options than you'd expect, and a few genuinely good bottles hiding in plain sight. Send a friend here without hesitation; just steer them past the Meiomi.

Ate Track is a bar first, and the wine list makes that abundantly clear. Eight labels with no pricing transparency and no visible effort to curate anything beyond the basics isn't a wine program — it's a liability hedge. If you're here for the bar scene, great. If you care about wine, order a cocktail and revisit the question.

Meat N Greet isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that clear — but within a nine-bottle program, the pricing is fair and there are a couple of genuinely good producers tucked in. If you're in Newnan and want a glass of something decent without overthinking it, this works. Just go straight for the Loosen.

Good Word is a brewery that built a wine list with actual intention, and that's rarer than it should be. We can't speak to pricing or glass pours without more data, but the selection itself — Vinho Verde, Mosel Riesling, Languedoc Chardonnay, Argentine blends, two Cavas — is the work of someone who wanted wine drinkers to feel welcome at a beer place. If you're the wine person in a beer-drinking group, Good Word has you covered.
