Wingman Metrics
The wine list at 1885 Grill Kennesaw is exactly what you'd expect from a neighborhood New American spot — recognizable labels, approachable prices, nothing that requires a wine education to navigate. At 26 bottles and 11 by-the-glass options, it's sized right for the room. No one's going to be intimidated, and no one's going to be wowed.
The list leans heavily on California workhorses and a few crowd-friendly imports. You've got Josh Cellars showing up twice (Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet), Silver Gate anchoring the budget tier across four varietals, and a handful of mid-range picks like Left Coast Pinot Noir and Trapiche Broquel Malbec that show someone put at least a little thought into things. The Reserve section bumps up to Imagery and Kendall Jackson territory, which isn't exactly adventurous but covers the bases. Old World representation is thin — Dr. L Riesling and Trapiche are about as far afield as it gets, and there's no Burgundy, Barolo, or Rioja to be found.
Eleven by-the-glass options is a respectable count for a list this size, spanning from a $6 Silver Gate house pour up to $11 for Kendall Jackson Chardonnay or Meiomi Red Blend. The range covers sparkling, white, rosé, and red, so you're not stuck with one choice per color. Nothing here is going to blow your mind, but you can build a solid dinner around these pours without wincing at the check.
The Bottom Line
1885 Grill Kennesaw keeps the wine list simple, priced reasonably, and stocked with bottles most people already trust. It won't excite anyone who cares deeply about wine, but it won't embarrass anyone either. If you're in Kennesaw for a solid meal and want a bottle that doesn't require homework, this gets the job done — just skip the KJ Chard and go straight for the Malbec.

Pisano's wine list exists to say they have a wine list — it's not here to impress you or help you drink better. If you're eating here, order the Gabbiano Chianti Classico or the Montepulciano, skip everything else, and save your serious wine curiosity for a night you've made a reservation somewhere that cares. The pizza might be great; the wine program is an afterthought.

Bernie's isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't need to be — what it does is offer a clean, fairly priced list where the Dr. Loosen Riesling alone is worth the stop. If you're in Kennesaw and want a decent glass without paying downtown Atlanta markups, this does the job honestly.

· Kennesaw · Fine Dining / Fondue
The Melting Pot Kennesaw isn't going to win any wine destination awards, but the list is fairly priced, the by-the-glass count is legitimately high, and a couple of picks — the Albariño and the Mosel Spätlese — show someone made at least a few thoughtful calls. If you're coming for fondue, you can drink well here without overpaying.

Dunwoody · Atlanta · New American/Southern
Parkwoods is a dependable wine stop — nothing here will make you a convert, but nothing will embarrass you at a client dinner either. If you're already eating here for the fried chicken or the steaks, order the wine confidently; just don't expect the list to be the reason you came. The Backyard patio is genuinely nice, and a cold glass of something simple out there on a good Atlanta evening is its own reward.

Midtown · Atlanta · New American/Southern
Midtown Social is a bar with a wine list, not a wine bar with a kitchen — and the list makes that hierarchy clear. Pricing is fair relative to what's poured, and the $5 house glass program gives it a pulse, but this is the kind of list you drink from because it's there, not because it brought you in. If wine is why you're going out tonight, this isn't your spot.

Serenbe · Chattahoochee Hills · New American/Southern
The Hill at Serenbe isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't need to be — the setting does a lot of the heavy lifting, and the list is honest and functional enough to support a genuinely good meal. If you're making the drive out to Chattahoochee Hills for the food and the pastoral vibe, you won't be left stranded at the wine list. Just don't make the wine the reason you come.
