Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Melting Pot Kennesaw is exactly what you'd expect from a national fondue chain — safe, approachable, and unlikely to surprise you. That said, it's not phoning it in either. With 40 labels and a robust by-the-glass program, there's enough here to drink well without feeling trapped.
The list leans heavily on familiar domestic names — KJ Chardonnay, Justin Cab, Silver Oak — with a few international nods like the Pazo Cilleiro Albariño from Rías Baixas and Schmitt Söhne Spätlese from the Mosel that hint at broader ambition. Whites dominate, which makes sense given molten cheese is the main event. The red selection is thin beyond the Cabernet-heavy lineup, and if you're hunting Pinot Noir, Syrah, or anything from Italy's red side, you'll come up empty. It's a crowd-pleaser list, assembled for a crowd that's here for the experience, not the cellar.
Twenty-six by-the-glass options is legitimately impressive for a chain restaurant and gives the table real flexibility throughout a long, multi-course fondue dinner. Prices run $8–$25/glass, which is reasonable for the format. The selection mirrors the bottle list — heavy on whites and bubbly, lighter on reds.
The Bottom Line
The Melting Pot Kennesaw isn't going to win any wine destination awards, but the list is fairly priced, the by-the-glass count is legitimately high, and a couple of picks — the Albariño and the Mosel Spätlese — show someone made at least a few thoughtful calls. If you're coming for fondue, you can drink well here without overpaying.
