First Impression
The name tells you where their heart is: whiskey first, wine second. The list exists more as an obligation than a passion project, with safe selections that won't scare off the bourbon crowd. Everything feels designed not to distract from the main attraction.
Selection Deep Dive
Expect the usual suspects: California Cabs that everyone recognizes, a few Napa heavy-hitters for spenders, and token international selections that check boxes without taking risks. The list leans heavily American, which makes sense given the restaurant's identity, but it plays it so safe you could set your watch by it. No deep cuts, no emerging regions, no somm showing off—just the wines that move reliably in steakhouse-adjacent spaces. The Palm Beach location probably means markup reflects the zip code more than the juice.
By the Glass
Glass pours likely stick to the greatest hits: a Napa Cab, a buttery Chardonnay, maybe a Malbec for the red blend crowd. Rotation is probably minimal—these are bottles that sell themselves while the bartenders focus on Old Fashioneds. Portions are generous enough, but don't expect anyone to geek out about terroir between whiskey flights.
Chronic Cellars Purple Paradise Petite Sirah — $48
Big, bold, fruit-forward—exactly what works with their charred proteins, and priced where you won't wince
Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto Toscana
If they stock it, this Super Tuscan offers Sassicaia's baby brother at a fraction of the price—more complexity than the Napa bludgeons
Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon
Marked up to $120+ for a bottle you can grab at Total Wine for $80—pure name recognition tax in a resort town
Ridge Lytton Springs Zinfandel + Smoked Brisket
Zin's peppery fruit and high alcohol cut through the fat and smoke without fighting the char—California's answer to BBQ
✔️ The Bottom Line
Warren knows its lane: whiskey temple with a wine list that services the non-bourbon drinkers. If you're here for the spirits program, order confidently. If you're here for wine, temper expectations and stick to the value plays.
