Five wines. That's the whole list. At first glance, that feels like a dare — but when every single one is from Willamette Valley and Oregon's best sub-appellations, the brevity starts to look more like a point of view. This isn't a wine program hedging its bets; it's a lounge that knows exactly where it stands.
The list is all Oregon, all the time — Yamhill-Carlton, Dundee Hills, and Willamette Valley producers filling out a tight five-deep roster. Gran Moraine and Archery Summit are recognizable anchors, but Rodeo Hills and Hundred Suns signal that whoever built this list wasn't just pulling the obvious names. The inclusion of a Syrah from Hundred Suns' Le Mani Rocks bottling is genuinely interesting for a region that mostly wants to talk about Pinot Noir — it's a quiet flex. There are no whites beyond the Archery Summit Pinot Gris and a rosé, so if you want range beyond the Pacific Northwest's favorite grape, you're in the wrong lounge.
All five wines are poured by the glass, priced $20–$26, which means the entire list is the BTG program. That's either elegant or lazy depending on your mood, but at least there's no confusion. Rotation appears minimal — this reads like a set menu, not a living document.
The Bottom Line
The Lounge at ōkta is a five-wine Oregon manifesto, and on those terms it mostly works — the producers are well-chosen and the Hundred Suns Syrah alone justifies a visit for the curious. The pricing sits on the steeper side for a lounge format with no food intel to justify it, but if you want a focused, no-fuss Oregon wine experience, this is a genuinely interesting stop in McMinnville.

The pricing is fair across the board, the Italian and Oregon selections show genuine curation, and the bubbles section alone justifies a visit. If you're eating pizza in wine country and not ordering something interesting here, that's on you.
