Walking into a brewery and finding Holloran and Patricia Green on the wine list is a small surprise worth noting. Golden Valley keeps it tight at 16 labels, but the Oregon-forward instinct is right. This isn't a wine destination — it's a brewpub that respects the fact that it's sitting in the middle of Willamette Valley wine country.
The list leans predictably local for the whites and Pinot Noir, which is exactly what you want when you're in McMinnville. Patricia Green Sauvignon Blanc 2024 and Holloran Pinot Noir 2022 are legitimate producers, not just Oregon name-drops for tourists. The red end of the list loses its footing with Dark Horse Cab and Waterbrook Red Blend — fine in a grocery run, a little out of place next to Holloran. There's a serviceable bubbly section with Stoller Sparkling Rosé and Opera Prima Cava, which shows some range even if the list doesn't go deep.
Every single bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is the whole program — no bottle-only selections appear in the data. Prices run $9 to $18 a glass, with the Opera Prima Cava Brut at $9 as your entry point and Holloran Pinot Noir 2022 topping out at $18. That spread is reasonable for a brewpub in wine country.

Golden Valley is a brewpub first, and the wine list knows its place — small, mostly local, priced without greed. If you're eating your way through McMinnville wine country and end up here for dinner, Patricia Green Sauvignon Blanc or Holloran Pinot Noir will keep you firmly in the spirit of the region. Don't expect a deep cellar; do expect a fair pour.

The pricing is fair across the board, the Italian and Oregon selections show genuine curation, and the bubbles section alone justifies a visit. If you're eating pizza in wine country and not ordering something interesting here, that's on you.
