The opening move — Kuentz-Bas Crémant d'Alsace at $50/bottle alongside a pair of serious Haliotide grower bubbles — tells you immediately that someone here is paying attention. This is a Paso Robles list that knows where it lives but isn't afraid to look beyond the county line.
The white wine section punches well above its weight for a 44-label list. Two Chenin Blancs (Center of Effort's "Oro Bianco" at $50/bottle and Zanoli at $70/bottle), a Paix Sur Terre Vermentino, and the McPrice Myers "Beautiful Earth" white blend give this list genuine personality — not just the Chardonnay-and-Sauvignon-Blanc checklist you get everywhere else.
