Big reds, bigger tabs, zero surprises

The wine list here reads exactly like you'd expect from a national steakhouse chain: California Cabs front and center, Champagne for celebrating, and a price floor that starts somewhere around 'are you sure?' The list is extensive on paper, but it's a brand-standard playbook executed in Worcester — there's nothing here that feels local, adventurous, or particularly inspired. That said, if you're here for a ribeye and a big red, the infrastructure to have a solid night is in place.
The list leans heavily on California, with a Champagne section anchored almost entirely by Moët & Chandon in its various iterations. Producers like Ferrari-Carano fill out the mid-tier by-the-glass slots — dependable, approachable, and about as safe as wine gets. International selections exist in theory, but the identity of this list is California reds and French bubbles, full stop. If you're hunting for Burgundy depth, Rhône character, or anything from the Southern Hemisphere, you're going to be squinting at a short bench.
There are 15-20 by-the-glass options, which is a respectable count for a steakhouse format. The problem is that the selections skew toward broad-appeal brands — Ferrari-Carano Cabernet and Merlot are the backbone here, which are fine but not exciting. A Happy Hour window (Mon–Fri and Sun, 4–6pm) includes select wines, which is worth timing your arrival around if you're price-conscious.
Ferrari-Carano Cabernet Sauvignon — Unknown
It's not a revelation, but Ferrari-Carano Cab is consistently made, food-friendly, and one of the more fairly positioned options on a list that trends steep. For a steakhouse glass pour, it does its job without drama.
Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial
Most people at a steakhouse walk past the rosé Champagne without a second glance — which means you can be the person at the table who actually looks like they know what they're doing. The Rosé Impérial has enough backbone to hold up against red meat, and it makes a better aperitif than anything on the cocktail menu.
Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial
Designed to be served over ice, which is a fun concept in a pool bar setting and an odd one in a $60-entree steakhouse. You're paying a Champagne premium for something that's been engineered to taste like less Champagne. Pass.
Ferrari-Carano Merlot + Filet
The filet is leaner and more delicate than the ribeye, and a plush, fruit-forward Merlot like Ferrari-Carano doesn't bulldoze it the way a tannic Cab might. It's the kind of pairing that just works without requiring you to think too hard about it.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Ruth's Chris Worcester is a reliable machine — well-oiled, consistent, and priced for expense accounts rather than wine lovers. If you're celebrating and want a safe, capable wine experience with your steak, it delivers; if you're here expecting anything beyond the brand-standard playbook, recalibrate before you sit down.

Willy's delivers a competent, crowd-friendly wine list that matches its supper-club DNA — no one's going home disappointed, but no one's going home inspired either. If you're in Worcester and want a solid glass with a prime steak, it does the job; just don't come here for the wine list.

The Fix earns its reputation on the burger side of the menu — the wine list is just not part of that story. Come for the food, order the beer, and save the bottle for another night.

111 Chop House Bar is doing exactly what it set out to do — give Worcester a place to order trophy Napa bottles alongside a prime cut. The markups sting and the list won't surprise anyone, but if you know what you're looking for, you'll find it.

The wine list at Uno Worcester exists to check a box, not to add anything to your meal. Come for the deep-dish, order a beer, and if you must have wine, show up on Wine Down Wednesday and at least get it at half price.

Dino's isn't a wine destination — it's a red-sauce neighborhood classic that happens to have an unexpectedly serious Port program tucked at the back of the menu. Come for the Chicken Parm, stay for the Taylor Fladgate.

Vejigante isn't a wine destination, but it's not trying to be — and for a vibrant Puerto Rican restaurant in downtown Worcester, the list is more thoughtful than you'd expect. Grab the Riesling, enjoy the mofongo, and don't overthink it.

Outback Laredo's wine program is a national chain doing national chain things — predictable, overpriced relative to quality, and staffed by people who aren't expected to know anything about what they're pouring. Come for the Bloomin' Onion, stick to a cocktail, and save the wine order for somewhere that cares.

Logan's Roadhouse is not a wine destination — it's a steakhouse chain where wine clearly wasn't part of the concept. Order a beer, order a cocktail, and save the bottle for a restaurant that's actually trying.
