Wingman Metrics
The wine list at RH Rooftop arrives looking exactly like the furniture downstairs — expensive, carefully curated, and designed to impress people who already know what they like. It's a polished corporate program through and through, heavy on recognizable American names and crowd-pleasing labels that read well to a table of well-heeled guests who aren't here to take risks. Nothing surprises you, but nothing embarrasses you either.
Sixty wines across the list with a clear tilt toward the American prestige circuit — Opus One, Jordan, Far Niente, Duckhorn — with a few European names sprinkled in to signal sophistication. Whispering Angel holds down the rosé category, which tells you all you need to know about the aspirational demo this list is built for. There's no real depth into smaller producers, alternative regions, or anything that might make a wine nerd lean forward. This is a list designed to minimize objections, not spark conversation.
Forty wines by the glass on a sixty-bottle list is actually a striking ratio — nearly the whole cellar is accessible by the pour, which is genuinely useful if you're ordering à la carte or splitting focus across the table. The quality of the glass pours skews high (Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling, Whispering Angel), but so do the prices. Don't expect any rotating discovery pours or staff-pick specials — what's on the menu is what's on the menu.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling — null
In a lineup dominated by prestige Napa Cabs and trophy bottles, this Washington state Riesling is the most honest pour on the menu — food-friendly, aromatic, and not asking you to pay for a brand name. Order it with the lobster bisque and don't look back.
Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
It gets overlooked because Opus One is sitting right next to it doing all the status signaling, but Jordan is a genuinely well-made Alexander Valley Cab that drinks above its price point and doesn't require a special occasion to justify the spend. The sleeper pick on this list.
Dom Pérignon Champagne
At a rooftop restaurant with a design-first identity and steep across-the-board markups, Dom Pérignon is going to cost you a small fortune for a bottle you could find at retail for far less. The ambiance is lovely, but it isn't lovely enough to close that gap.
Far Niente Chardonnay + Lobster Bisque
Far Niente's Chardonnay leans into oak and richness without going overboard — it's got enough texture to stand up to the cream and sweetness of the bisque while keeping things bright enough to not flatten the dish. It's the kind of pairing that feels obvious in retrospect.
✔️ The Bottom Line
RH Rooftop is a great place to drink wine you already know in a room that photographs extremely well — just don't come expecting to discover anything. If you're a guest who wants reliability and a gorgeous sunset view, this delivers; if you're chasing depth or value, this list isn't going to find you.
The Square / Downtown · West Palm Beach · Italian trattoria
Il Bellagio is a perfectly decent place to drink Italian wine with Italian food on a warm West Palm Beach evening — just don't expect the list to surprise you, and steer clear of the Santa Margherita markup. Order the Chianti, grab a table on the plaza, and call it a reliable night out.

PLANTA West Palm Beach won't disappoint you on wine, but it won't thrill you either — the list is safe, the markups are mostly steep, and the picks are designed for consensus. Come for the food, order the Whispering Angel, and don't overthink it.

The Square / Downtown · West Palm Beach · Tuscan-inspired Italian, coastal Italian
Felice earns its keep with a genuinely Italy-focused list, a Tignanello markup that won't make you wince, and a Monday wine program that should be on your weekly calendar. Not groundbreaking, but reliably good — and in this neighborhood, that's not nothing.

Abe & Louie's is a dependable, well-stocked steakhouse wine program with real depth and knowledgeable staff — it just charges accordingly and rarely colors outside the lines. Send a friend here for a serious bottle of Cab with a prime steak, but tell them to ask the sommelier to find something off the beaten path.

Grato is a reliable wine list for a neighborhood Italian that punches above its weight in by-the-glass options and producer selection — just know the markups skew steep on anything recognizable. Send a friend here for the Pinot and the pasta, not the prestige bottles.

West Palm Beach · West Palm Beach · Wine bar with global small plates
The Blind Monk is the kind of place West Palm Beach didn't know it needed — a genuine natural wine bar with a thoughtful list and a low-key atmosphere that makes you want to stay for another pour. The markups keep it from being a true Rager, but as a Wild Card in a city not exactly known for its wine culture, it absolutely earns a visit.

Table 26 punches above its neighborhood weight with a list that has real ambition and a happy hour program that's one of the best deals in South Florida. The markup on the trophy tier is aggressive, but if you drink smart — and especially if you show up before 6 PM — this place absolutely delivers.

Henry's isn't a wine destination, but it's not pretending to be one either — the list is familiar, the markups are fairer than you'd expect from a Breakers property, and the flight program gives you a reason to explore. Send your friends here for dinner without worrying they'll get gouged on wine.
