The wine list at Red Robin exists in the same way a spare tire exists — technically there, definitely not the point. You flip past it looking for the Whiskey River BBQ Burger and find a handful of names that feel copy-pasted from a gas station cooler. This is not a wine destination. It is a burger destination that has accepted wine as a diplomatic concession.
The list runs six to ten bottles deep, all California, all mass-market — Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi and Sutter Home anchor the lineup, which tells you everything you need to know about the ambition here. There are no regions worth getting excited about, no producers taking any risks, no attempt to match the wine program to the quality of the kitchen. It's a placeholder list, assembled to check a box rather than complement a meal. The beer program is clearly where the love went, and honestly, that's fine — but let's not pretend the wine side is anything other than an afterthought.
Four to six pours available by the glass, ranging from $7 to $11, which sounds reasonable until you remember you're pouring Woodbridge Chardonnay. At those prices you're paying a 3-4x markup on wines that retail for under $8 a bottle. The rotation appears to be permanent — there's no evidence anything here has changed recently or ever will.
Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay — $9
If you're going to drink wine here, this is the least offensive move on the board. It's inoffensive, cold, and gets the job done while you wait for bottomless fries.
Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay
Not a gem by any stretch, but it's genuinely the strongest option on a very short bench — and at a burger chain in West Topeka, clearing that bar still counts for something.
Sutter Home White Zinfandel
Sweet, pink, and marked up well above its $5 retail price. Order a milkshake instead — at least Red Robin does those well.
Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay + Towering Onion Rings
The oaky butteriness of the Woodbridge Chard actually cuts through the fried grease reasonably well here — not a pairing worth writing home about, but the most functional match this list can offer.
❌ The Bottom Line
Skip the wine entirely and order one of the craft beers — that's where Red Robin actually put in the work. If someone at the table insists on wine, the Woodbridge Chardonnay will survive the evening.

Jose Pepper's is a great spot for a frozen margarita and a chimichanga — the wine list just isn't why you're here, and it knows it. Order the cocktails and don't look back.

The wine list at Olive Garden East Topeka is a corporate document, not a wine program — marked up steeply on bottles that deserve no such confidence. Order a cocktail, split a bottle of the house Chianti if you must, and save your wine curiosity for literally anywhere else in Topeka.

The wine list exists because every Italian restaurant has to have one — not because anyone here is passionate about it. Drink the Cavit, enjoy the unlimited breadsticks, and save the serious wine drinking for somewhere else.

Red Lobster's wine list is exactly what you'd expect from a national chain that treats wine as an afterthought — familiar names, steep markups, zero curation. Order the Riesling, enjoy the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, and don't come here looking for a wine moment.

Olive Garden is not a wine destination and was never trying to be one — the list exists to move bottles, not to inspire anyone. Order the Il Grigio if you want something worth drinking, otherwise stick to the Chianti and save your wine energy for somewhere else.

LongHorn's wine program exists to check a box, not to enhance your dinner. Order the steak, skip the wine list, and if someone insists, point them to the Decoy Cab and move on.
