Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Blue Moose fits on a Post-it note — six options, all by the glass, all priced between $6 and $6.50. It's not a wine list so much as a wine footnote appended to what is clearly a beer-and-burger operation.
There's no bottle program, no regional curation, no attempt at depth. What you get is a short row of broadly recognizable names — a sangria, a Pinot Grigio, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Malbec, a rosé, and a red blend — that reads like the wine aisle at a mid-tier grocery store. No old world exploration, no surprises, no producer story worth telling. The MDZ Malbec is the most interesting thing here, and that bar is not set high.
Every single wine is by the glass because there is no bottle list. Six pours, $6 to $6.50 each, with zero rotation evident. If you came back next month, you'd almost certainly find the same six options in the same order.
La Vieille Ferme Rosé — $6.50
A Luberon rosé from the Perrin family for under seven bucks is genuinely hard to argue with. It's the most credible wine on this list and the most likely to survive the experience of being poured in a bar & grill setting.
MDZ Malbec
Most people at Blue Moose are ordering a beer, and the few who order wine are probably grabbing the sangria. The MDZ Malbec is the only thing here with any actual wine character — Mendoza fruit, decent structure — and it's flying completely under the radar.
Red Sangria
At $6 it's the cheapest pour on the list, and it earns that distinction. Pre-made bar sangria is rarely anyone's proudest moment, and this isn't the place to find an exception.
Château St. Michelle Sauvignon Blanc + Burger
We don't have the full menu, but Blue Moose is a bar & grill and burgers are a safe assumption. The Château St. Michelle Sauvignon Blanc — bright, clean, a little citrusy — cuts through the fat better than anything else on this list would.
The Bottom Line
Blue Moose isn't here for wine, and wine isn't here for Blue Moose. Order a local draft and call it a day — but if you absolutely need a glass, reach for the La Vieille Ferme Rosé and manage your expectations accordingly.

Jose Pepper's is a great spot for a frozen margarita and a chimichanga — the wine list just isn't why you're here, and it knows it. Order the cocktails and don't look back.
