There's no real regional depth or exploration happening here; the selections exist because most diners already recognize the names. Whites skew toward approachable and slightly sweet, which honestly isn't the worst call next to a plate of shrimp. If you're hoping for something from Burgundy, Alsace, or even a domestic indie producer, keep hoping.
