Sixteen wines, all by the glass — that's the whole menu, and honestly it's a flex. PH1315 isn't trying to be everything; it's a tight, curated list that leans hard into Italian classics with a few smart detours. The price ceiling at $19 a glass tells you this place has its head on straight.
The list punches above its weight for a neighborhood wine bar in Aurora. There's a genuine Italian backbone here — Pieropan Soave Classico, San Felice Chianti Classico, and the Argiano NC Rosso Super Toscana give you a respectable tour of the peninsula without being textbook about it. The whites show real range, from Michele Chiarlo's Arneis (a Piedmontese grape most people can't spell) to a Dr. Hans Von Muller Kabinett Riesling that earns its spot. Reds lean Cab-heavy on the domestic side, which is predictable, but the Calera Pinot Noir keeps things honest. No bottles, no half-pours noted — you're drinking glass-only, so hope you like commitment.
All 16 wines are by the glass, which is the entire program — no bottle service in sight. Prices run $11 to $19, and the spread is wide enough to reward exploration without punishing your wallet. The Billecart-Salmon at $19 is the splurge anchor; everything else sits comfortably in the $11–$16 range.
Pieropan Soave Classico — $12
Pieropan is one of the definitive names in Soave — this isn't bulk grocery store white, it's a benchmark producer. Getting it at $12 a glass is the kind of deal that makes us want to order two.
Michele Chiarlo Arneis Le Madri
Most people scroll right past Arneis on a wine list because they don't recognize it. That's their loss — this Piedmontese white is floral, crisp, and completely unlike every Pinot Grigio at the table next to you. At $13 it's practically a public service.
Band of Vintners Premium Cabernet Sauvignon
At $19 a glass, this is the priciest red on the list, and Band of Vintners doesn't carry the name recognition to justify that ceiling when you could be drinking the Argiano Super Toscana for $3 less with way more personality.
Argiano NC Rosso Super Toscana + Charcuterie or cured meat board
A Super Toscana blend is built for exactly this moment — earthy, structured, with enough dark fruit to cut through salty cured meats. It's the obvious call on a small plates menu and it earns that reputation.
The Bottom Line
PH1315 is doing something genuinely interesting for Aurora — a tight, Italian-accented glass-only list at prices that don't insult you. It's not a destination wine bar, but it's the kind of neighborhood spot that makes you glad it exists.
