The wine list at Park Place Prime reads like a greatest-hits album from your local wine shop — everything you recognize, nothing that surprises you. It's competently assembled for a casino steakhouse crowd that wants Caymus and doesn't want to think too hard about it. The 6th-floor views are doing more heavy lifting than the list.
California dominates from start to finish, with Sonoma, Russian River, and Monterey filling out the usual suspects — La Crema, Hartford Court, Decoy, Bonanza. There's a thin Italian presence with the Barone Brolio Chianti Classico DOCG and the Tre by Brancaia Super Tuscan, which at least gives the list a little Old World texture. New Zealand shows up with the Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc, which is a credible pick, but France barely registers beyond the Moët by the glass. If you're hunting for Burgundy, Rhône, or anything from Spain or Germany, keep hunting.
Eighteen options by the glass is a respectable count for a steakhouse, ranging from $11 to $38, and the Caymus Cabernet at the top end will make a certain type of casino diner very happy. The happy hour list trims things down to six, which is fine for a deal but won't excite anyone. There's no evidence of meaningful rotation — this program is set and poured.
Bonanza Lot 7 Cabernet Sauvignon — $11
Chuck Wagner's Bonanza project punches well above its price point — it's a real Napa Cab at an entry-level pour price, and in a room where everything trends expensive, this is the honest play by the glass.
Barone Brolio Chianti Classico DOCG
In a sea of California Cabs, this Sangiovese from one of Tuscany's oldest estates is a genuinely different drink — higher acid, food-driven, and almost certainly underordered at a steakhouse. It's exactly what you want with a bone-in ribeye if you're willing to ignore the table's peer pressure.
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio
Look, we all know Santa Margherita. It's fine. It's also one of the most marked-up Pinot Grigios in the game because the name sells itself. In a casino steakhouse, you're paying a premium on top of an already inflated brand premium. Order the Craggy Range instead.
Tre by Brancaia Super Tuscan + Park Place Prime Burger
A Super Tuscan blend — Sangiovese-led with Merlot and Cabernet — has the structure to handle a serious burger without the alcoholic heat that a full Caymus brings to casual eating. Brancaia's Tre is sleek and savory, and it makes a steakhouse burger feel like an actual dining moment.

Park Place Prime is exactly what a casino steakhouse wine list should be — familiar, functional, and tilted toward the crowd writing checks. It won't thrill anyone looking for discovery, but if you want a solid Cab with your dry-aged steak and don't mind paying casino prices for the privilege, it gets the job done.
