Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Zest is short, friendly, and stocked with names you've definitely seen at the grocery store. That's not a dig — it's a conscious choice, and at an Asian-cuisine spot on Canton Street, it works well enough to get through dinner without stressing over the list.
Thirty-three labels split heavily toward white wine, which makes sense given the menu's flavors — the Chardonnay section alone runs five deep, from entry-level Proverb up through Jordan and Rombauer. Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc each get their own solid depth with four-plus options, and a single Riesling from Kung Fu Girl rounds out the aromatic white corner. The red side is thinner, anchored by Cabernet Sauvignons from Josh, J. Lohr, Louis Martini, and Proverb — serviceable, but anyone hunting for Pinot Noir, Syrah, or anything from the Old World will come up empty. This is a list built for ease, not adventure.
Twenty-three by-the-glass options is a genuinely strong number for a list this size, and the $9–$15 range keeps things accessible. Most bottles price out at roughly 4x the glass, which is standard restaurant math — no egregious gouging happening here.
The Bottom Line
Zest isn't trying to win any wine awards, and that's fine — the list is priced reasonably, pours freely by the glass, and covers the white-wine territory that makes the most sense with the food. If you're looking for a natural wine deep-dive or anything beyond California standards, you're at the wrong spot. But for a breezy Canton Street dinner, Kung Fu Girl Riesling in hand, you'll leave happy.

Downtown Roswell · Roswell · American
Canton St. Social is a solid neighborhood restaurant in historic downtown Roswell, and the wine program appears to be built for exactly that — supporting a good night out without overcomplicating things. We don't have enough sourced wine data to tell you what to order, which means your best move is to ask your server what's pouring well that night and go from there. Worth a visit for the food and atmosphere; the wine list is a work in progress as far as our research goes.

The Big Ketch Roswell keeps the wine program tightly scoped and mostly on-point for a seafood house — fair prices, smart regional picks, and a by-the-glass setup that rewards curious drinkers. It's not going to blow anyone away, but it's not going to embarrass you either. Send a friend here for the Vinho Verde and whatever's fresh on the menu.

Alpharetta · Roswell · Steakhouse/Seafood
Ray's at Killer Creek is a reliable steakhouse wine program — not exciting, probably priced to favor the house, but functional and well-matched to the room it's serving. The Tuesday half-price wine night is the real move here: a polished steakhouse atmosphere with a Napa Cab at half the markup is a solid Tuesday in anyone's book. Go for the filet, drink on a Tuesday, and don't expect the list to surprise you.

The Southern Porch isn't a destination wine list, but it doesn't pretend to be — and that honesty is worth something. Fair prices, full glass availability, and a room that makes you want to linger are a reasonable trade for a short, crowd-pleasing selection. Send a friend here if they want a glass of something easy with their pimento cheese; send a wine-obsessed friend somewhere else.

The Mill Kitchen & Bar earns its Wild Card badge by doing something genuinely unexpected: running an Enomatic wine system with a structured flight program out of a Southern restaurant in the suburbs. The list is small and the markups are real, but the storage is handled right and the flight concept gives curious drinkers a low-commitment way to explore. If you're in Roswell and want more than a generic house pour, this is worth a detour — just budget accordingly.

Cork Haus Roswell is a genuine surprise in the suburban Atlanta wine landscape — a small, focused bottle shop with a buying philosophy that favors interesting over obvious. The natural wine and pét-nat selection alone makes it worth a detour. If you live anywhere near Roswell and you're tired of the same Napa Cab at every restaurant in town, this is your spot.

ISB Corridor · Daytona Beach · Asian
P.F. Chang's ISB Corridor isn't a wine destination, but it's not an embarrassment either — especially on Monday when half-price bottles make The Prisoner or Stags' Leap an actual value play. Come for the lettuce wraps, drink the Riesling, and know what you're walking into.
