A French bistro brunch concept tucked into Newberg wine country — and the list reads exactly like that sounds: proudly local, quietly nerdy, and more interesting than you'd expect from a daytime spot. Seventy labels with serious Pinot depth and a dessert wine section that has no business being this good.
The backbone here is Oregon Pinot Noir, and it's stacked: Quaintrelle, Ayres Perspective, Martin Woods Jessie James Vineyard, and the standout, a Dusky Goose Dundee Hills 2013 that adds genuine cellar credibility to the bottle list. Beyond Pinot, there's a Holloran Tempranillo from the Willamette Valley — an odd but welcome left turn — plus a Lady Hill Cab that nods to Washington without abandoning the Pacific Northwest ethos. The white selection is leaner but purposeful, anchored by Trisaetum Chardonnay and Sokol Blosser Sauvignon Blanc.
