You walk into a Western bar and grill in Newberg, Oregon, flip open the wine list, and find 77 labels — almost entirely sparkling. That's not a typo. Bronco Kelly's has committed to bubbles with a conviction most dedicated wine bars can't match.
The list is almost exclusively sparkling wine, spanning Australian pét-nats, Champagne maisons, sparkling reds, and everything in between — and it actually works. Australian producers like Bunnamagoo Estate, Burnbrae, Lowe, and Robert Stein dominate the mid-list, representing regions most Oregon restaurants wouldn't touch. The Champagne section covers the obvious crowd-pleasers — Piper-Heidsieck, G.H. Mumm, and Veuve Clicquot — which feel almost mainstream compared to the rest of the list. The absence of still wines is a genuine swing, and if you came here for a Pinot Noir, you're in the wrong room.
Fourteen by-the-glass options at $7–$10 is genuinely accessible for a sparkling-focused program. The Craigmoor Wines Brut Cuvée Piccolo at $7/glass anchors the pour list as an easy entry point. We'd love to see more rotation through the deeper Australian producers on the bottle list, but the glass program holds its own for a bar setting.

Bronco Kelly's is one of the stranger wine lists we've encountered — a sparkling-only program at a Western bar and grill, built with genuine range and fair prices. If you're open to the premise, the Australian mid-list alone justifies the stop. If you need a glass of still Chardonnay, keep driving.
