First Impression

The name promises Napa Valley ambitions, but the wine list feels like it was assembled from a grocery store endcap display. You get the sense this place wants wine to be part of its identity, but hasn't quite figured out how to commit to it beyond the obvious California labels.

Selection Deep Dive

The list leans heavily on safe-bet California producers—your Kendall-Jacksons, your Menages, your 19 Crimes. There's minimal Old World representation, and what's there feels like an afterthought: a generic Prosecco, maybe a Chianti that no one ever orders. The sweet spot seems to be $40-60 bottles that you can find at Total Wine for $18. No depth in any region, no exploration of smaller producers, no sense that anyone curating this list actually cares about wine beyond filling slots on a menu.

By the Glass

The glass pour selection runs predictable: a Chardonnay, a Pinot Grigio, a Cab, a Pinot Noir, maybe a rosé in summer. Pours are generous enough, but you're paying $12-14 for wines that retail for $12 a bottle. Rotation is rare—these same pours have been anchoring the list for months, possibly years.

💰Best Value

La Crema Monterey Pinot Noir — $42

Still overpriced at 3x retail, but at least it's a reliable producer and won't disappoint if you need red wine with dinner

💎Hidden Gem

Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Chardonnay

If they have it, it's probably the most thoughtful selection on the list—actual terroir expression instead of oak bomb theater

Skip This

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon

Marked up to $110+ for a $50 retail bottle that's all show and no nuance—pure markup theater

🍽️Perfect Pairing

Josh Cellars Pinot Noir + Grilled Salmon

Safe, fruit-forward red with enough acidity to handle fish—won't challenge you, won't offend you

The Bottom Line

This is a restaurant that thinks having 'Napa' in the name is enough. Skip the wine, order a craft cocktail, and save your wine budget for somewhere that actually cares.
