The wine list at McCormick & Schmick's inside Harrah's is exactly what you'd expect from a chain seafood restaurant bolted onto a casino floor — 23 labels, no surprises, and nothing that suggests anyone spent much time curating it. It's the kind of list designed to move bottles without starting any conversations. If you squint, you can almost see the corporate spreadsheet it was printed from.
Twenty-three labels split between 'Select' and 'Premium' tiers is a thin catalog for a full-service seafood and steakhouse concept, and the producers here — Robert Mondavi, Mark West, Sterling, Ecco Domani — are the wine-aisle regulars you've walked past a hundred times at Total Wine. There's no meaningful regional depth, no old-world representation beyond the dessert section, and nothing that suggests a buyer with an actual point of view. The one legitimately interesting corner of this list is the fortified wine section: Graham's 10, 20, and 30 Year Tawnies alongside a Taylor Fladgate LBV give the dessert program more dimension than anything in the main list. That's not a compliment to the main list.
Fifteen of 23 labels pour by the glass, which sounds generous until you realize most of them run $7–$9 — fine in isolation, but these are mass-market brands that retail for $10–$15 a bottle, so the math isn't doing you any favors. Rotation appears nonexistent; this looks like a static program refreshed on a seasonal or annual basis at best. The Miraval Rosé and Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc are the two pours worth considering if you need something with a pulse.
Miraval STUDIO by Miraval Rosé — $9/glass
Miraval is a recognizable Provence-adjacent rosé with actual brand credibility — at $9 a glass it's the one pour on this list that feels closest to fair value relative to what's in the bottle.
Graham's 20 Year Tawny Port
Nobody comes to a casino steakhouse for the Port, which means the Graham's 20 Year sits quietly on the dessert menu largely unordered. That's a mistake — a 20 Year Tawny from Graham's is a legitimately serious pour with nutty, dried-fruit complexity that can close out a seafood dinner better than any dessert on the menu.
Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon
At $7 a glass it sounds like a deal until you remember this is the entry-level Napa bottling that retails around $12–$14 — you're still paying a steep premium for a wine that's perfectly fine and completely forgettable. Order the Port instead.
Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc + Seafood
Wairau River is a Marlborough producer with more credibility than most of what surrounds it on this list — its grassy, citrus-driven profile is a natural fit for shellfish or lighter fish preparations, and it's the one white that actually makes sense in a seafood house context.
The Bottom Line
McCormick & Schmick's inside Harrah's is a wine list on autopilot — safe brands, static program, and markups that remind you you're inside a casino. Drink the Port, keep your expectations low, and don't skip the cocktail menu.

Nola's is a genuinely fun place to spend a late night on the Atlantic City Boardwalk — the atmosphere earns its stripes. But if wine is why you're sitting down, you're in the wrong seat. Order a cocktail, enjoy the music, and save your serious wine budget for somewhere that's thought harder about the list.

The Iron Room is the kind of wine-forward bar Atlantic City doesn't know it needs — cozy, staffed by people who care, and refreshingly serious about what's in the glass. If you're in AC and want something other than $14 Pinot Grigio at a casino bar, this is your move.

Vic & Anthony's is a competent casino steakhouse wine list — it won't embarrass you and it won't thrill you. If you're already there for the steak, grab the Siduri by the glass and don't look too hard at the markups.

Steve & Cookie's isn't a wine destination, but it's a solid spot to drink reasonably well alongside excellent seafood and a live jazz soundtrack. If you're going Monday through Thursday, get there early and hit the bar before your table.

Sofia isn't a wine destination, but it's a better-than-expected list for the Shore — especially if you lean into the Greek selections that nobody else around here is bothering with. The markups on the California staples will sting, so go Greek and drink smarter.

Eddie V's is clearly investing in the kitchen and the room — the wine list suggests nobody got the memo. Four labels with no pricing transparency at an upscale seafood destination in Troy is a hard sell. Order the cocktails and hope someone fixes this soon.

Huggo's is a reliable enough place to drink wine if you're already there for the view and the fresh fish — just don't come expecting value or discovery. The regional mix is competent, the setting is genuinely spectacular, and the list will get you through dinner without incident. If you're a wine-first traveler, this probably isn't your destination, but it's a perfectly reasonable stop if the ahi tuna is calling your name.
