Wingman Metrics
Twenty-eight labels isn't a lot to work with, but Knife and Stone has clearly thought about what goes on this list. You get a globe-trotting mix — Galicia, Loire Valley, Rioja, Mendoza, Sonoma — that punches well above the weight you'd expect from a fine dining spot in Newnan, GA. This isn't a lazy hotel wine list; someone made deliberate choices here.
The white side is where the list earns its credibility: a Gotas De Mar Albariño from Galicia, a Sauvion Vouvray from the Loire, and Flowers Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast all signal that whoever built this menu knows there's life beyond mass-market California. Reds are solid if less adventurous — Bodegas Ontañon Tempranillo out of Rioja and Felino Malbec from Mendoza keep things interesting, while the California contingent (Rickshaw Pinot, Pedroncelli Cab, Firestone Cab) handles the crowd-pleaser duty competently. The list gaps are real: no sparkling beyond Lunetta Prosecco, no dessert wines, and nothing from Germany, Burgundy, or Italy beyond a token Pinot Grigio. But for 28 labels, the hit rate is respectable.
Two options by the glass — Backhouse Chardonnay and Backhouse Cabernet Sauvignon, both at $7 — and that's the entire pour program. At $7 a glass that's genuinely affordable, but two pours is a skeleton crew, and neither Backhouse is the most exciting bottle on the list. If you're not committing to a bottle, your options are limited.
The Bottom Line
Knife and Stone isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's doing more with 28 labels than plenty of restaurants do with 80. The by-the-glass program is genuinely underdeveloped — two pours at $7 is better than nothing, but barely — and without more information on staff knowledge or service, we can't promise someone will guide you well. What we can say: if you're in Newnan and want a real bottle of wine with a fine dining meal, this list won't let you down.

· Newnan · Steakhouse
The Cellar looks like exactly the kind of neighborhood steakhouse that earns a reliable badge on vibe and food alone — and the wine list might well back that up. But until we can verify specific bottles, prices, and pours, we can't tell you where to put your money on the wine side. Go for the Ribeye or the Picanha; when we get a look at the actual list, we'll tell you exactly what to drink with it.

Mama Lucia's wine list punches well above its weight for a casual Italian restaurant in Newnan — fair pricing, real Italian regional depth, and an almost entirely by-the-glass program that invites exploration. If you're the kind of person who gets excited about Valtellina Superiore showing up at $13 a glass, send a friend here immediately.

Meat N Greet isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the list makes that clear — but within a nine-bottle program, the pricing is fair and there are a couple of genuinely good producers tucked in. If you're in Newnan and want a glass of something decent without overthinking it, this works. Just go straight for the Loosen.

Graysons puts together a wine list that would hold its own in Atlanta, let alone Newnan. The by-the-glass depth is the real headline — 36 options with fair pricing means you can explore without committing to a bottle or breaking the bank. If you're in Coweta County and want a proper glass of wine with your steak, this is your spot.

Fellaship.ATL's wine list is one of the thinnest we've seen at a restaurant positioning itself as fine dining — five anonymous wines with no producers, no regions, and vintages that suggest the list hasn't been touched in years. The pricing won't break you, but there's genuinely no reason to think hard about what to order. Stick to cocktails and check back if they ever decide to invest in the program.

Boone's is a steakhouse built on consistency and occasion, and the wine program almost certainly reflects that: safe, classic, and priced for a room where nobody's splitting the tab. We'd love to dig into a full sourced list before making specific bottle calls — until then, come for the dry-aged ribeye, bring someone else's credit card, and don't expect the wine list to be the reason you return.

Polaris plays it safe and charges fine dining prices to do it — the Caymus at $250 is the headline, but the broader markups tell the same story. If you want a generous glass program with names you trust and don't feel like gambling on an unfamiliar bottle, this works. But if you're hoping the wine list matches the ambition of the room, you'll leave a little underwhelmed.
