Wingman Metrics
Ten bottles, ten by-the-glass options — yes, that's the whole list, and it's exactly the same ten. Jetty isn't trying to be a wine destination, but somebody clearly made intentional choices here rather than just calling the Sysco rep and asking for their top sellers. There's a Pacific Northwest backbone to this list that feels right for a seafood spot on the Puget Sound.
The list leans hard into the Northwest identity: King Artisan Pinot Gris from Washington, the Sleight of Hand Red Blend out of Walla Walla, Alki Merlot representing the region, and Canvasback Cab — which is a legit Red Mountain label — anchoring the reds. That's a respectable regional showing for a ten-bottle card. The gaps are real though: no Riesling, no white Burgundy, and the only bubbles are two party-crowd sparkling options in La Marca and Piper Sonoma. The Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc is a crowd-pleaser import that feels slightly out of place alongside the more localized picks, but it'll move volume.
Everything on the list is available by the glass, priced $11–$16 for the glass pours, which is genuinely reasonable for a sit-down restaurant in 2024. The range covers sparkling, white, rosé, and red without asking much of your wallet. No rotating selections or featured pours spotted, so what you see is what you get — but that consistency isn't the worst thing.
King Artisan Pinot Gris 2023 — $20
Washington Pinot Gris this food-friendly at this price point is the sweet spot on this list. It's a natural match for anything coming out of the seafood kitchen, and King Artisan actually puts effort into their wines — this isn't a label-slap job.
Sleight of Hand Red Blend 2022
Most people at a seafood bar reach for white and call it a day. That's their loss. Sleight of Hand is a serious Walla Walla producer and their red blends punch well above what a $20 restaurant pour usually delivers. Order the salmon and go rogue.
La Marca Prosecco
At $11 a glass it's not highway robbery, but La Marca is the Prosecco you buy at the grocery store for a Tuesday. If you want bubbles, the Piper Sonoma Brut at $14 is a better drink and still approachable on the wallet.
King Artisan Pinot Gris 2023 + Grilled local seafood
Washington Pinot Gris has the weight to stand up to grilled fish without overwhelming it — there's enough texture to complement the char and enough brightness to cut through any richness. It's the obvious call at a Northwest seafood spot, and obvious calls are obvious for a reason.
The Bottom Line
Jetty isn't a wine pilgrimage, but it's a thoughtful little list at a waterfront spot in Everett — fair prices, genuine Pacific Northwest representation, and no obvious embarrassments. Send your friend here for a glass of Pinot Gris and some Puget Sound seafood without hesitation.
