What you actually get is a reasonably composed steakhouse list that skews safe but doesn't insult your intelligence. The Gordon Ramsay branding sets expectations high; the wine list meets them squarely in the middle.
The list sticks to the steakhouse playbook: California, France, Argentina, and Italy doing the expected work without many curveballs. You'll find Malbec from Mendoza (Alta Vista), Zinfandel out of Russian River Valley (Deloach), and sparkling options ranging from La Marca Prosecco to the more serious Paul Goerg Premier Cru from Vertus. There's a sommelier on staff, which suggests the list has someone accountable for it — but the visible selections lean hard toward crowd-pleasing predictability rather than any regional depth or adventurous sourcing. Gaps exist where you'd want them filled: no visible old-world red depth, no real exploration of Burgundy, Rhône, or Spain.

Paul Goerg is a cooperative in Vertus making serious Champagne that rarely gets the spotlight it deserves. Ordering this at a casino steakhouse while everyone else reaches for the Prosecco is quietly excellent decision-making.
Deloach Vineyards Zinfandel, Russian River Valley, California
Russian River Valley Zinfandel gets overshadowed by the region's Pinot Noir reputation, but Deloach makes a structured, food-friendly version that holds up to a ribeye better than most people expect. Most tables will walk right past it.

La Marca is a fine grocery store Prosecco that has no business appearing on a steakhouse list at resort pricing. Save your money, skip the casino markup, and step up to the Paul Goerg if you want bubbles.

A well-sourced Mendoza Malbec brings enough dark fruit and structure to stand alongside a fatty, char-kissed ribeye without the Napa Cab price tag. It's the obvious call that also happens to be the right one.

Gordon Ramsay Steak isn't building a destination wine program, but it's not phoning it in either — there's a sommelier, fair pricing, and a few genuinely smart picks hiding in a list that otherwise plays to the casino crowd. If you're here for the Beef Wellington, you'll find something worth drinking with it.
