Wingman Metrics
Nine labels. That's the whole list. At a tapas bar — a format practically built for adventurous wine drinking — Gocha's shows up with a drink menu that looks like it was drafted in about fifteen minutes. The prices are reasonable, but there's almost nothing here to get excited about.
The wine program is essentially two sangrias, five house pours by the glass, and a bottle of Champagne sitting at $50 without a producer name attached. There's no region to speak of, no producer identity, and no indication that anyone curating this list has thought about what actually complements tapas-style food. House Cabernet, House Merlot, House Pinot Grigio, House Moscato, and a Chardonnay cover all the familiar bases — but 'house' doing so much heavy lifting here is a red flag for quality. A Spanish tapas concept with zero Spanish wine on the list is a missed opportunity of the highest order.
Eight of the nine options are available by the glass, which sounds generous until you realize most of them are unnamed house pours at $9 a glass. The sangrias at $12 a glass are the only options with any personality baked in. If you're coming here for serious glass pours, recalibrate your expectations fast.
The Bottom Line
Gocha's Tapas Bar is almost certainly a fun night out for reasons that have nothing to do with wine. The list is short, anonymous, and shows no engagement with the cuisine it's supposed to complement — not a single Spanish or even European producer in sight. Order the sangria, enjoy the atmosphere, and don't come here hoping the wine list delivers.

Galleria · Atlanta · Asian
Osha Thai Sushi Galleria's wine list is exactly what it needs to be — accessible, fairly priced, and available almost entirely by the glass. It won't impress a wine nerd, but it won't embarrass anyone either. If you're here for the food, the El Terrano Albariño or Louis Jadot Gamay will carry you through dinner without drama.

Cabbagetown · Atlanta · New American/Southern
Carroll Street Cafe is the kind of place that earns its Wild Card badge not by having the most impressive list in Atlanta, but by doing something genuinely unexpected — running a thoughtful wine program inside a cozy neighborhood cafe in Cabbagetown. We don't have enough verified wine data to make specific bottle calls right now, but the bones are there. If you're in the neighborhood and want wine with your Shrimp and Grits without feeling like you're at a corporate restaurant, this is a solid bet — just go in ready to ask questions.

Fellaship.ATL's wine list is one of the thinnest we've seen at a restaurant positioning itself as fine dining — five anonymous wines with no producers, no regions, and vintages that suggest the list hasn't been touched in years. The pricing won't break you, but there's genuinely no reason to think hard about what to order. Stick to cocktails and check back if they ever decide to invest in the program.

Virginia-Highland · Atlanta · Spanish/Latin
Bar.bacoa keeps it simple and mostly gets it right — fair prices, a by-the-glass program that covers the whole list, and just enough Spanish character to feel intentional. This isn't a destination wine list, but it's an honest one. If you're in Virginia-Highland and want a glass of Cava or Albariño without overpaying, this is a reliable call.

Midtown · Atlanta · Italian
Campagnolo isn't trying to be a wine bar, and it doesn't need to be — the white and sparkling selections are genuinely solid for a midtown Italian spot. We'd steer toward the Albariño or the Fouassier Sancerre, skip the generic Chardonnay, and keep expectations calibrated: this is a food-first room with a wine list that supports the meal rather than steals the show.

Boone's is a steakhouse built on consistency and occasion, and the wine program almost certainly reflects that: safe, classic, and priced for a room where nobody's splitting the tab. We'd love to dig into a full sourced list before making specific bottle calls — until then, come for the dry-aged ribeye, bring someone else's credit card, and don't expect the wine list to be the reason you return.

Suwanee Social's wine list is built for accessibility, not adventure — and within that lane, it mostly delivers. Fair pricing, an exceptional by-the-glass count, and the Albariño and Cava as genuine bright spots make this a comfortable neighborhood pick. Just don't come here expecting a list that matches the ambition of the cuisine.

Don Quixote gets more right than wrong: fair prices, a by-the-glass program that actually rewards exploration, and enough Spanish DNA in the list to feel intentional. Trim the grocery-store filler, lean harder into the Iberian producers, and this list goes from solid to genuinely exciting. For now, it's a reliable neighborhood find worth a visit — just order the Albariño or the Cava and let the small plates do the rest.

Blackjack Bar Tapas runs one of the smallest wine lists we've come across in Atlanta, but it's hard to fully roast it — the four picks are genuinely considered. The markups are a little stiff across the board, and if you're hoping for a Spanish red to wash down your tapas, you're out of luck. But if you want a glass of zero-dosage Cava or an Oregon Pinot Gris at a bar that clearly has a point of view, this list delivers more than it has any right to.
