The wine list at Gettin' Basted is exactly one line long: House Wine, $5 a glass. That's not a wine program — that's a placeholder for people who forgot they don't drink beer.
There is nothing to deep dive. The entire wine offering is a single unnamed house pour tucked under a 'From the Bar' section, which tells you everything you need to know about how seriously this kitchen takes wine. No region, no producer, no varietal — just 'wine' as a concept. To be fair, this is a barbecue joint in Branson, Missouri, and nobody is driving here to debate appellations, but the absence of even a token effort — a Zinfandel, a Malbec, anything with a name — is a choice.
One option. Five dollars. Unknown varietal, unknown origin, unknown everything. It exists, and that's the best thing we can say about it.
The Bottom Line
Come to Gettin' Basted for the barbecue — not the wine. The $5 house pour is a service item, not a program, and there's no evidence anyone is minding the cellar (or even has one). Order a beer, enjoy the smoke, and don't think about wine until you're somewhere else.
