The wine list here doesn't try to be anything it's not — and honestly, that's kind of refreshing. You're at a Texas-themed chain steakhouse in Branson, and the list reads exactly like that: familiar names, steak-friendly grapes, and prices that won't make you wince. It's a list built for the room, not for the critics.
The 30-50 bottle list leans hard into California with predictable-but-dependable producers like Kendall-Jackson, Josh Cellars, and Meiomi doing most of the heavy lifting. Washington State gets a nod via Chateau Ste. Michelle, and there's a Texas thread woven in that fits the brand. Don't come looking for Burgundy, Barolo, or anything that requires a backstory — this list has zero interest in adventure. What it does offer is a clean lineup of crowd-tested bottles that genuinely work with red meat, which is, to be fair, the entire point.
Ten to fifteen pours by the glass is a solid spread for a casual steakhouse, and the $9–$16 range keeps things accessible. The BTG options mirror the bottle list — Meiomi Pinot Noir, Josh Cab, Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling — so you know what you're getting before you even ask. No rotation to speak of; what's on the menu is what's on the menu, month after month.

At the low end of the glass price range, this Washington Riesling punches above its station — it's got enough fruit and brightness to cut through a rich steak dinner without being sickly sweet. One of the more honest pours on the list.
Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon
In a lineup of Josh Cellars and Kendall-Jackson, Rodney Strong is the quietly better option most people scroll past. It's a proper Sonoma Cab with more structure and less brand-marketing fluff — worth the extra few dollars if it's the step-up bottle on the list.
Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
Josh Cellars is everywhere — your grocery store, your neighbor's holiday party, every casual chain from here to Tampa. You can do better for the same money or close to it with Rodney Strong right there on the same list. Save Josh for the couch.
Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon + Mesquite-grilled ribeye
Sonoma Cab and a mesquite-grilled ribeye is not a complicated equation — the wine's dark fruit and firm tannins meet the char and fat of the steak and everyone goes home happy. It's the most straightforward pairing on the menu and it earns that status.

Saltgrass Branson isn't a wine destination, and it knows it — the list exists to serve the steak, and at these prices, it does that job competently. Send your wine-curious friends here without hesitation; send your wine-obsessed friends to dinner somewhere else first.
