The wine list at Flavors is short, approachable, and won't stress you out — 28 labels that clearly weren't assembled by someone obsessing over terroir, but weren't phoned in either. There's a genuinely nice nod to the local Finger Lakes region tucked in among the California and import crowd-pleasers. It's the kind of list you'd expect at a solid neighborhood Indian spot that wants to have wine without making it a whole thing.
California dominates — Kendall Jackson, Louis Martini, William Hill, and Franciscan all show up, which is reliable if uninspiring territory. The real standout is Fox Run Semi Dry Riesling from the Finger Lakes; that's a smart, locally-minded pick that actually makes sense with spiced food. International representation leans on workhorses like Alamos Malbec, Caposaldo Chianti, Matua Sauvignon Blanc, and Casillero Del Diablo, which are fine bottles but nothing you haven't seen on a hundred other lists. The top end is thin — the Franciscan Magnificat at $65 is essentially the lone bottle with any ambition.
Nine by-the-glass options is a respectable count for a casual Indian spot of this size, and the pricing on the house pours is genuinely reasonable at the $8–$9 range. The Freixenet Cava at $7.99 is the move if you want bubbles with your samosas. The glass program feels static rather than curated — don't expect seasonal swaps or anything rotating through.
Fox Run Semi Dry Riesling — $22
Fox Run is a legit Finger Lakes producer, and a semi-dry Riesling at $22 is a steal that also happens to be the smartest food wine on the list for spiced dishes.
Caposaldo Chianti
Most people reach past the Chianti at an Indian restaurant, but a juicy, mid-weight Sangiovese handles lamb curry and tomato-based dishes better than the California Cabs everyone defaults to.
Franciscan Magnificat
At $65, it's the only bottle pushing into splurge territory, and a bold Meritage blend isn't doing your korma or tikka any favors. The price-to-context ratio just doesn't add up here.
Fox Run Semi Dry Riesling + Chicken Tikka Masala
A touch of residual sugar and bright acidity in the Riesling cut right through the cream and temper the heat in the tikka masala — it's the pairing the list is practically begging you to make.

Flavors isn't a wine destination, but it's not pretending to be one either — the list is honest, the prices are fair, and the Fox Run Riesling alone justifies ordering a bottle. Come for the food, drink the Riesling, and don't overthink it.

Pintxo is punching well above its weight class for a small-city wine bar, and the Spanish regional focus gives it a genuine identity that most places never find. If you're anywhere near the Finger Lakes and care even a little about wine, this one's worth the detour.

Rose Tavern is a perfectly pleasant place to drink wine if you're already staying at The Lake House — the setting does a lot of the work. But if you're driving in specifically for the wine list, you'd do better hitting a dedicated Finger Lakes tasting room down the road.
