First Impression
The wine list is dominated by Cooper's Hawk's own label — a corporate winery pushing proprietary bottles through their restaurant chain. It's the Cheesecake Factory model applied to wine, which means you're paying restaurant markup on wines they produce and control at every level.
Selection Deep Dive
The list reads like a captive audience situation: Cooper's Hawk Lux Chardonnay, Cooper's Hawk Red Blend, Cooper's Hawk Reserve Cabernet. There are token third-party producers scattered throughout, but the focus is clearly on moving their own inventory. The proprietary wines aren't bad — they're contract-crush from California fruit — but the pricing structure feels engineered to make their house bottles look like the smart choice. What's missing: any real regional diversity, small producers, or wines with actual terroir expression. This is industrialized wine retail dressed up as a dining experience.
By the Glass
By-the-glass pours lean heavily on Cooper's Hawk labels, which means consistency but zero adventure. You'll find the usual suspects — a Chardonnay, a Pinot, a Cab — all bearing the house brand. Prices sit in the $10-14 range per glass, which isn't outrageous until you realize you're paying restaurant margins on wines the company produces. Rotation is minimal because the model doesn't reward it.
Cooper's Hawk Pinot Grigio — $28
If you're stuck here, this is the safest bet — crisp, clean, and priced where their model doesn't completely sting you
Any third-party Oregon Pinot Noir (if available)
Look for the one or two outside producers they stock — they're trying to compete with the house label, which means better value
Cooper's Hawk Lux Reserve Cabernet
This is where the markup gets absurd — you're paying Napa-level prices for a Central Coast contract wine with a fancy label
Cooper's Hawk White Sangria + Wood-Fired Flatbread
Embrace the chain energy — the sweet, fruity sangria actually works with their pizza-adjacent flatbreads
❌ The Bottom Line
Cooper's Hawk is a wine club masquerading as a restaurant, and the list reflects that vertical integration. If you're already a member or love the predictability, fine. If you're looking for an actual wine experience, go literally anywhere else.
