Wingman Metrics
Twenty-one labels, most of them names you'd recognize from a grocery store endcap — Beringer's White Zin, Josh Cellars, Mezza Corona. The prices are low, and that's probably the point. This is a list built for people who want wine without thinking about it.
The list splits into a 'Table Pour' tier of house wines hovering around $20/bottle and a 'Proprietor's Pick' tier that climbs to $36 — still deeply affordable, but the selections don't get much more interesting as you go up. Domaine Bousquet Malbec Reserve and Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz represent the most globally aware choices here, while Angels & Cowboys Cabernet and The Dark Lodi Red Blend skew toward crowd-friendly California reds. There's a single sparkling option — JFJ Brut — and no rosé, no orange wine, and no meaningful Old World presence beyond a Schmitt Mosel Riesling and the Bousquet. Gaps are wide: no Rhône, no Italian reds, nothing that would give a curious wine drinker something to dig into.
Nine pours available, ranging from $6.50 to $11.50 per glass. The program covers the basics — White Zin, Moscato, a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet — plus JFJ Brut at $8.50/glass. Don't expect anything rotating or seasonal; this looks like a set-and-forget program that hasn't changed much in a while.
The Bottom Line
Clearwater Grill's wine list is honest about what it is: inexpensive, familiar, and unfussy. The pricing is fair across the board and the Domaine Bousquet Malbec Reserve gives you a genuine reason to order a bottle. But there's no curation here, no rotation, and no sense that anyone is tending this program with any care. Order the Bousquet, enjoy your meal, and don't expect the list to surprise you.

· Clearwater · Coastal Seafood
Ocean Seven earns its reputation on setting and service — the seventh-floor Gulf view and sunset champagne toast are genuinely hard to beat. The wine list appears to be an afterthought relative to the room, leaning Italian but not deeply so, with no documented specials, deals, or standout picks. Go for the experience; just don't expect the list to match the view.

· Clearwater · Hotel Tavern, American
Aviators Tavern is a hotel bar with a hotel bar wine list, and there is no pretending otherwise. If you are staying at The Clearwater Hotel and want a glass of something inoffensive before dinner, the Oyster Bay will do the job. For anyone who actually cares about what is in their glass, walk somewhere else.

Westshore · Clearwater · Fine-dining steakhouse
The Capital Grille is a reliable machine — the wine program is competent, well-staffed, and properly executed, but the markups are steep and the list plays it extremely safe. Send a friend here for a business dinner, but tell them to order Jordan before anyone at the table reaches for the Opus One.

Clearwater vicinity · Clearwater · Upscale steakhouse with seafood and extensive wine program
Fleming's is a reliable machine — excellent execution, real wine depth by-the-glass, staff that knows the list, and no surprises in a bad way. Just don't expect discovery; expect comfort, and budget accordingly for markup.

Indian Rocks Beach · Clearwater · Seafood / American
Guppy's won't win any awards for adventurous curation, but the list is fairly priced, thoughtfully stocked for a seafood crowd, and broad enough that everyone at the table finds something. Send a friend here for the grouper and tell them to drink the Cloudy Bay.

Belleair Bluffs · Clearwater · American Steakhouse
E&E Stakeout Grill is a perfectly decent neighborhood steakhouse wine list that asks too much on most nights — but Wine Wednesday flips the math entirely and makes this one of the better value plays in the Clearwater area. Come on a Wednesday, order the Chianti Classico, and you'll have zero complaints.

· Worcester · American Grill
110 Grill Worcester is a dependable spot for a casual dinner or drinks with a group, and the food menu has some genuinely appealing options — the Chimichurri Steak and Cucumber & Avocado Tuna in particular look like they could use a decent pour alongside them. We just can't vouch for the wine list until we have better intel on what's actually in it. Come for the vibe; we'll update the wine call when the evidence catches up.

· Chapel Hill · American Grill
Page Road Grill isn't trying to be a wine destination and doesn't pretend to be — but the list is priced fairly, shows occasional flashes of genuine curation, and gives you enough options to drink well while you eat. Send a friend here for dinner and tell them to skip the Honig.

Glenstone · Springfield · American Grill
This is a hotel-adjacent chain bar doing the bare minimum on wine, and it shows. If you're staying at the DoubleTree and don't want to drive anywhere, grab the J Lohr Cab and call it a night — but don't come here for the list.
