Wingman Metrics
The wine list at Chart House Daytona is exactly what you'd expect from a polished chain seafood spot on the water — short, familiar, and priced to move. Thirteen labels, all available by the glass, all under $10. It's not trying to impress anyone, but it's also not ripping you off.
The list reads like a greatest-hits compilation of mass-market brands: Line 39, Mezzacorona, Clos du Bois, J. Lohr. There's a loose geographic spread — California, Washington, Italy, Chile, France — but don't go looking for anything that requires a second glance. The Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling is a welcome nod toward food-friendly whites that actually suit a seafood menu, and the Château de Berne Romance Rosé adds a bit of southern France credibility. Beyond that, this list plays it as safe as a life jacket.
All 13 wines are poured by the glass at $8–$10, which makes the entire list feel like a by-the-glass program — and honestly, that's fine for this setting. No rotating selections, no half-pours, no real sign of curation happening behind the scenes. What you see on the menu is what you get, night after night.
J. Lohr 'Seven Oaks' Cabernet — $10
Seven Oaks retails around $15-18 and drinks well above its price point. At $10 a glass in a waterfront restaurant, you're getting a solid, structured Cab without getting gouged. Order it with the prime rib and call it a night.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling
Most people at a seafood joint walk straight past Riesling and head for the Chardonnay without thinking. That's a mistake here. Ste. Michelle's Columbia Valley Riesling has the acidity and slight off-dry sweetness to cut through rich bisques and stand up to spiced fish preparations. It's $8 and most tables won't touch it — their loss.
Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio
It's cheap, it's everywhere, and it tastes like it. Mezzacorona is a fine grocery store bottle but it doesn't do anything interesting in a glass next to fresh seafood. Step up to the Rodney Strong Sauvignon Blanc for the same $10 and actually taste something.
Château de Berne Romance Rosé + Crab Cakes
A Provence-style rosé with crab cakes is almost unfairly obvious — but it works. The Berne Romance is dry, light on fruit, and has enough mineral backbone to let the crab do the talking without walking all over it. Two easy wins on one table.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Chart House Daytona isn't a wine destination, but it's not pretending to be one either. Fair prices, approachable pours, and a marina view that does half the work — send your friends here knowing they won't be underwhelmed or overcharged.
Beachside Entertainment Zone · Daytona Beach · Steakhouse
Hyde Park Prime is a reliable, if predictable, steakhouse wine experience — the California heavyweights are all present, the glass pour program is functional, and it'll make your celebration dinner feel appropriately special. Just don't come here looking for discovery; come here knowing what you already like and order confidently.

Speedway Retail · Daytona Beach · Asian Chain
Skip this place on any day that isn't Wednesday, when half-price bottles make a mediocre list into a legitimately decent deal — especially if you're ordering around the Rieslings. It's a chain, it drinks like one, but the Wednesday program earns it a pass.

Cast & Crew isn't a wine destination, but it's got just enough going on to reward anyone paying attention — especially if you're ordering the Vouvray with oysters at happy hour. Skip the Champagne, grab a bar seat, and keep your expectations calibrated to the beach you're sitting next to.

Azure is here to serve hotel guests a familiar glass of wine with a spectacular backdrop, and it succeeds at exactly that low bar. Come for the ocean, order by the glass, and don't expect the wine list to surprise you.

Hyde Park Prime Daytona is a dependable, well-run wine program in a room that knows what it wants to be — and mostly delivers. Markups will sting, but the sommelier, the depth, and the oceanfront setting make it the right call when the occasion calls for a serious bottle and a serious steak.

Mama Foo Foo is a cocktail bar that happens to have a wine list worth reading — and in Daytona Beach, that alone makes it a Wild Card worth pulling. Go in expecting a nightlife spot, and let the Billecart-Salmon magnum surprise you.

Chart House Daytona Beach is a Reliable stop — the wine won't blow your mind, but it won't embarrass you either, and $8–$10 pours with a marina sunset is a deal worth taking. Order the El Coto, grab a window seat, and let the view do the heavy lifting.
