The marina views through those floor-to-ceiling windows are genuinely stunning — and then the wine list arrives and brings you right back down to earth. What you're looking at is a greatest hits collection of grocery store staples, priced like they're rare finds. The list doesn't try very hard, and it doesn't pretend to.
This is a Landry's chain list through and through: Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, Meiomi Pinot Noir, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, La Marca Prosecco — wines you've seen at every supermarket checkout. California dominates, with a few token international names rounding out the approachable end of the spectrum. There's no old world depth, no independent producers, no regional curiosity — just a curated shortlist of brands people already know so the server never has to explain anything. For a restaurant charging $30–$55 an entree, that's a missed opportunity.
You're looking at roughly 10–14 pours, all from the same familiar roster that makes up the bottle list. The range covers the bases — white, red, bubbly — but rotation appears minimal and there's nothing adventurous in the mix. At $11–$17 a glass for wines retailing at $13–$18, the math doesn't flatter anyone.
J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon — $40
It's still marked up, but Seven Oaks is a legitimately well-made Central Coast Cab with structure and dark fruit that holds up against the prime rib. Relative to the rest of the list, it's the bottle doing the most actual work for the money.
Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon
It tends to get overlooked next to flashier brand names on a list like this, but Rodney Strong's Sonoma Cab punches above its price point with real tannin structure — a better red than most people expect from a chain list.
Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay
A $13 retail bottle showing up at $38 is the most egregious markup on the list. KJ Vintner's Reserve is fine for what it is, but you are absolutely not getting $38 worth of wine. Order a cocktail.
Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc + Macadamia Crusted Mahi
The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc's citrus and herbal zip cuts through the richness of the macadamia crust and brightens the fish without fighting it. It's one of the more logical pairings you can make from this list.
Monday — Chart House Atlantic City may participate in Landry's / Golden Nugget Monday promotions including half-price bottles on select wines, but this has not been confirmed for this specific location. Call ahead before making it a trip.
❌ The Bottom Line
Chart House is a perfectly serviceable special-occasion dinner when the sunset hits right and someone else is paying — but the wine list is a chain afterthought with independent restaurant markups. Drink one glass with the view, then switch to something else.

Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is exactly what it sounds like — come for the beer, and come for the atmosphere. If your crew insists on wine, the Bezel Pinot is a worthy pour, but don't come here expecting a wine program that keeps up with the rest of the experience.

Park Place Prime is exactly what a casino steakhouse wine list should be — familiar, functional, and tilted toward the crowd writing checks. It won't thrill anyone looking for discovery, but if you want a solid Cab with your dry-aged steak and don't mind paying casino prices for the privilege, it gets the job done.

Ruth's Chris Atlantic City is a reliable, well-executed steakhouse wine program that does exactly what it says on the label — deep California Cab selection, competent staff, proper storage, steep prices. Send a friend here if they want a sure thing, not if they're looking to be surprised.
