Wingman Metrics
Seventeen labels, all available by the glass — Cadillac Pizza Pub isn't pretending to be a wine destination, and that's fine. This is a pizza pub in McKinney, Texas, not a Michelin-starred tasting room, and the list reads accordingly: approachable, familiar, and built for people who want a glass of something decent with their slice. No surprises, no landmines.
The list is a greatest hits of grocery-store-adjacent producers — Kendall Jackson, Murphy Goode, Matua, Juggernaut — names that move bottles because people recognize them, not because they're pushing any envelopes. There's a token nod to Italy with the Gabbiano Chianti Classico DOCG, which is the only wine here that gestures toward Old World character. Reds dominate with five Cab-adjacent options and a pair of Pinot Noirs, while whites are anchored by two Chardonnays and a Sauvignon Blanc. Rosé fans get one shot — the Charles & Charles — and it's a reasonable one.
Every bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is genuinely useful at a pub where no one is committing to a whole bottle of Rabble Cab on a Tuesday night. Glass prices run $8 to $16, with house pours sitting at $8 — that's a fair entry point. The Avissi Prosecco at $12 a glass is the most crowd-pleasing pour in the building.
Palisades Red Blend — $40
At the lowest bottle price on the red side of the list, Palisades punches above its bracket — it's a food-friendly blend that drinks easy with pizza without demanding your attention or your wallet.
Gabbiano Chianti Classico DOCG
In a sea of California Cabs and fruit-forward crowd pleasers, this is the one bottle that actually makes sense with pizza. Sangiovese's natural acidity was made for tomato sauce, and most people will scroll right past it toward something they recognize.
Kendall Jackson Chardonnay
At $60 a bottle, you're paying restaurant markup on a wine that retails for $15 at any grocery store in America. The markup here is the steepest on the list, and KJ Chard is never the answer.
Gabbiano Chianti Classico DOCG + Margherita Pizza
Sangiovese and tomato are a natural match — the wine's bright acidity cuts through the sauce, and the earthy backbone holds up to the char on the crust without drowning out the fresh mozzarella.
The Bottom Line
Cadillac Pizza Pub won't change how you think about wine, but it won't ruin your night either. Grab the Chianti with your pizza, skip the KJ Chardonnay, and enjoy the fact that you can get a decent glass for $8.

Kona Grill McKinney is not a wine destination, and it knows it — this list exists to sell bottles, not to educate or excite. The by-the-glass depth is legitimately useful, but if you're somebody who cares about what's in your glass, manage expectations before you sit down.

BJ's McKinney is a beer destination with a wine list that exists mostly as a formality — the Wednesday half-price deal is the only reason to engage with it seriously. Come for the craft beer and the Pazookie; the wine is just along for the ride.

P.F. Chang's wine list won't win any awards, but it's doing exactly what it needs to do for a busy suburban dinner crowd. Don't come here for a wine experience — but don't write it off either, especially if you know what to order.

Saltgrass McKinney is a reliable spot for a Texas-style steak, but the wine list is clearly not why anyone is driving out here. Unless you're sticking to the J. Lohr Pinot or talking someone into splitting the Hampton Water, you're better off ordering a cocktail and calling it a night.

Blue Goose is a perfectly fun Tex-Mex night out — just don't come here for the wine. Order a margarita, eat the tamales, and save your wine curiosity for somewhere that returns the favor.

Durkin's is a legitimately good pizza spot that happens to have a wine list in the same way a convenience store has a wine list — it's there, it's functional, and nobody's proud of it. Come for the pies, order the beer, and if you must have wine, go Louis Martini and don't overthink it.
