Walking into a renovated auto garage to drink Washington Syrah is exactly the kind of thing we love — there's nothing pretentious about this place, and that's the point. The list is short and entirely house-made, which means you're here to drink Burnt Bridge wines and nothing else. That focus either excites you or it doesn't, but we're in.
This is a single-producer list, full stop — every bottle comes from Burnt Bridge Cellars itself, which is either charming or limiting depending on your mood. The range covers Washington State's strengths: a Chardonnay that nods at white Burgundy without pretending to be it, a Rosé that works hard during patio season, and a Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah leaning into Bordeaux and Rhône territory respectively. There's no deep cellar, no guest producers, no obscure imports — but the winery clearly knows what it's doing with Pacific Northwest fruit. Gaps are obvious if you want range, but if you want a focused snapshot of what Vancouver, Washington can do with wine, this is a solid answer.
Six to ten pours available depending on the season, all from the house lineup, priced between $10 and $18. Rotation follows what the winery is currently pouring, so the glass menu and the bottle menu are essentially the same conversation. It's a tight program, but the price points are honest and the pours are generous enough to make flights the move.
Burnt Bridge Cellars Rosé — $10–$13/glass
Washington Rosé at this price in a tasting room setting is almost always a win, and this one pulls its weight — bright, food-friendly, and easy to drink a second glass of without doing math.
Burnt Bridge Cellars Syrah
Most people in a casual tasting room default to the Cab, but the Syrah is where Burnt Bridge shows real range — Rhône-leaning, peppery, and darker than you'd expect from a garage pour.
Burnt Bridge Cellars Chardonnay
Not bad wine, but at this price point in a single-producer room, you're better off putting that glass money toward the Syrah or a flight — Chardonnay is the safe, forgettable choice here.
Burnt Bridge Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon + Charcuterie and cheese board
Cured meats and aged cheese do the heavy lifting that a full entrée would otherwise provide — the Cab's structure holds up to the fat and salt without needing a ribeye to justify itself.

Burnt Bridge Cellars is a one-winery show in a converted garage, and it works because the wines are priced right and the room has genuine personality. Send a friend here if they want a low-key Washington wine experience without the tasting fee guilt trip.

Elements is a better wine list than its size suggests, with a genuinely curious regional spread and a Thursday bottle special that makes the steep markups temporarily irrelevant. Show up on a Thursday, order the Mercer Grenache or the Alain Voge, and you're having a very good night in a city that doesn't always get credit for it.

Maryhill Vancouver is a genuinely good reason to detour into Washington wine country without leaving the city limits — the Klipsun Cab alone justifies a visit. It's not trying to be a destination wine bar, but it earns its place as the best pour on the Vancouver waterfront.

Dediko is a Wild Card in every sense — it's a cozy Georgian café in a strip of downtown Vancouver serving wines most locals have never tasted, and that alone makes it worth a visit. The markups are hard to love, but the experience of drinking actual Georgian wine with actual Georgian food is singular enough that we'd still tell a curious friend to go.
