Wingman Metrics
You're surrounded by red rock canyon country, sleeping in an Airstream, and somehow the wine list actually has opinions. It's short — ten bottles, all available by the glass — but it doesn't feel lazy. Someone here made intentional choices.
Ten labels isn't deep, but the curation punches above the campfire. You've got Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant sitting next to a Folk Machine White Light, which tells you whoever built this list wasn't just defaulting to grocery store staples. Columbia Crest and Line 39 are the workhorse options keeping prices grounded, while the Bonny Doon Le Cigare Orange adds a genuinely adventurous note for a hotel restaurant in Provo. The gap here is obvious — no Champagne, no sparkling, thin on whites — but for what it is, this list has a point of view.
Every bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is the right call for a camp hotel where people are just passing through on their way to Zion. Pours range from $9 to $15, with the House Wine Rosé at the top of that range — which is a little rich for what it is. The by-the-glass spread genuinely covers all the bases: rosé, orange, white, red.
Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant — $40
A Rhône-style red from Randall Grahm at $40 a bottle is legitimately good value anywhere. At a camp hotel in southern Utah, it borders on a public service. If you're splitting it fireside, this is the move.
Folk Machine White Light
Most people glance at $48 and grab the Columbia Crest Chardonnay instead. Don't. Folk Machine makes lean, low-alcohol whites that are built for exactly this situation — warm nights, outdoor air, light food. It's the most interesting white on a short list.
House Wine Rosé
At $15 a glass, you're paying a premium for the most generic label on the menu. The Charles & Charles Rosé at $48 a bottle is a much better use of your money and a noticeably better wine.
Bonny Doon Le Cigare Orange + Whatever you're grilling at the campsite
An orange wine with grip and texture holds up to char and smoke in a way that a light rosé simply can't. The Le Cigare Orange is the most interesting bottle on this list and deserves more than a wine glass next to a picnic table — though honestly, that setting suits it just fine.
The Bottom Line
AutoCamp Virgin has no business having a wine list this interesting, and we mean that as a compliment. It's small, it's fair, and it has two or three bottles genuinely worth ordering — which is more than you can say for most hotel restaurants twice its size.

Block is a solid neighborhood restaurant that happens to have wine — not a wine destination that happens to serve food. If you're in Provo and want something decent in your glass without any stress, it works. Just don't buy the bottle of Pinot.

La Dolce Vita earns its stripes as a dependable neighborhood Italian with a wine list that actually respects the cuisine it's serving. It's not a destination wine program, but in Provo, it's one of the better options on the table — and that house pour at $4 a glass is almost disarmingly honest.

Harbor is a reliable upscale date-night option where the wine list won't embarrass anyone but won't excite anyone either. Rose Tavern is a perfectly pleasant place to drink wine if you're already staying at The Lake House — the setting does a lot of the work. But if you're driving in specifically for the wine list, you'd do better hitting a dedicated Finger Lakes tasting room down the road.
