Walking into Valentina's, the vibe does the heavy lifting — warm, intimate, and clearly designed for lingering. It's the kind of place where you settle in and order a second glass before finishing your first. The list feels curated rather than exhaustive, which works if the picks are sharp.
The focus leans toward Italy and France with some California in the mix, which is a solid enough foundation for a neighborhood wine bar. Piedmont gets some love, which tells us someone behind this list knows what they're doing — Barolo and Barbaresco are not accidental inclusions. That said, the list reads more 'safe crowd-pleaser with taste' than 'destination wine program,' and without serious depth across regions, adventurous drinkers may hit the wall quickly. Gaps in the southern hemisphere and natural wine space suggest the selection isn't chasing trends, for better or worse.
We don't have a confirmed glass count, but the bar format and intimate size suggest a rotating short list rather than a sprawling by-the-glass program. If you're killing time at Concourse T and you care even a little about what's in your glass, this is where you should be sitting.
