The list at Two Travelers opens like a conversation starter from someone who actually knows wine — pet nat from Turkey, skin-contact Viognier from a local ranch, Cremant from Burgundy. This is not the wine bar where you order a Malbec on autopilot. Whatever you expect from a Temecula wine bar, set it aside.
Twenty-three labels, all available by the bottle, and the range is legitimately impressive for a small-format list. You've got sparkling covered from multiple angles — a classic Cremant Brut, a Rosé Cremant, a Turkish pet nat from Pasaeli, and an Offscript Sparkling Pinot Noir. The whites lean adventurous: Hans Wirsching Silvaner from Franken, Zuccardi Torrontes from Argentina, a Cowhorn Spiral White Blend from Oregon's Applegate Valley. Reds anchor around Mourvedre (Juan Gil from Spain), Carignan (Camins 2 Dreams), Cabernet Franc from the Loire (Domaine Gouron), and Sardinian Cannonau from Contini — a lineup that treats Cabernet Sauvignon as a supporting character, not the headliner. The only real gap is no older vintages or anything with serious cellar depth, but that's not what this place is going for.
Every single bottle on the list is available by the glass, which is either an ambitious program or just the whole model — either way, it works. Glass prices run $12–$17, which is honest money for this caliber of wine. There's no obvious rotation schedule communicated, so the list appears to update periodically rather than shift weekly.
Zuccardi 'Serie A' Torrontes 2024 — $36
The cheapest bottle on the list and one of Argentina's most underrated white grapes — aromatic, food-friendly, and wildly sessionable. At $36 in a wine bar setting, this is a straight-up steal.
Pasaeli Sparkling Sidalan Pet Nat 2024
A pet nat from Turkey made with Sidalan, an obscure indigenous grape — this is the kind of bottle that makes wine interesting again. Most tables will walk right past it for the Cremant. Don't be most tables.
Siduri Chardonnay 2023
Siduri is a perfectly respectable producer, but it's also widely distributed and easy to find at retail for less. At $45 a bottle, it's the most forgettable pick on a list that otherwise takes genuine swings. The bottle you could've had at home.
Domaine Gouron La Croix de Bois Cabernet Franc 2022 + Charcuterie board
Loire Cab Franc's herbal edge and bright acidity cut through cured meats and aged cheese without overwhelming them — it's the classic move for a reason, and at $51 it's the most interesting bottle on the red side of the list.
The Bottom Line
Two Travelers punches well above its weight for a Temecula wine bar — the list is curious, fairly priced, and genuinely fun to explore. If you're in wine country and want to drink something besides the same five Temecula Valley Cabs, this is where you go.

Great Oak is a reliable, well-run resort steakhouse wine program — the sommelier presence and proper storage elevate it above the casino norm, but steep markups and a brand-name-heavy list keep it from being anything more than a very comfortable choice. Send a friend here if they want a guaranteed-good bottle of California Cab with a great steak; steer them elsewhere if they're looking for discovery.
