Wingman Metrics
The Vine is Blue Ridge's original dedicated wine bar, family-owned by Michelle and Tony since April 2020. A large array of wines available by the glass, flight, or bottle, plus beer flights, cocktails, and wine slushies in the summer. The wine flights are the signature move: curated tastings that let you explore without committing to a full glass. Generous pours, fair prices, and a selection that rotates enough to reward regular visits. The food menu revolves around flatbread pizzas (Margherita, Reuben, Dixie Chicken), sandwiches, salads, tapas, and charcuterie boards.
Regulars call it "the Cheers of Blue Ridge," and that captures it perfectly. Intimate space, dog-friendly patio, live music on weekends, and a staff that remembers your name and your preferences. Open Tuesday through Sunday with extended Friday and Saturday hours until 10-11 PM. This is where you start your Blue Ridge wine evening before moving on to dinner at Black Sheep or Ferraro's.
A dedicated wine bar in a mountain town is already distinctive. The flight program, rotating selections, wine slushies, and the community vibe give The Vine a personality that's hard to replicate. The list isn't the deepest in Blue Ridge, but the format is the most wine-focused. The "Cheers" comparison is earned.
The Bottom Line
The Vine is Blue Ridge's wine-first gathering spot. Flights, flatbreads, and a neighborhood bar feel that makes wine approachable. Start your evening here.

Downtown St. Helena · St. Helena · Wine Bar / Small Plates
Hotel St. Helena's wine bar is a narrow but confident list that earns its place as a Champagne Garden — the California sparkling selection alone is worth the stop on a Main Street afternoon. Just know you're paying for the setting as much as the wine, and lean into the bubbles.

Mall of Abilene · Abilene · Wine Bar / Small Plates
For a wine bar inside a shopping mall in Abilene, this clears the bar more comfortably than you'd expect. Don't come looking for anything to geek out over, but if you want a decent glass and a charcuterie board mid-errand run, it delivers.
