Wingman Metrics
The wine list at The Living Room opens with a clear thesis: we take bubbles seriously. Champagne dominates the top half of the 77-label list in a way you genuinely don't expect from a wine café in suburban Chandler. The rest of the list is quieter — heavier on crowd-pleasing whites than anything adventurous — but that Champagne section earns its keep.
The sparkling program is the unambiguous centerpiece here, running the full gamut from a $32 Ruffino Prosecco all the way up to Louis Roederer Cristal 2016 at $550. The prestige cuvée lineup is legitimately impressive for a neighborhood wine bar: Dom Pérignon 2015, Krug Grand Cuvée 172nd Edition, Bollinger Grande Année 2014, and the Loriot-Pagel Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2020 for the grower-curious crowd. Beyond bubbles, the whites lean heavily on Sauvignon Blanc — Cloudy Bay, Craggy Range, and the more approachable Archetype — with a stated focus on Chardonnay and French white Burgundy rounding things out. What's missing is any real depth in reds or a sense of discovery outside the sparkling section; the list reads like someone built an excellent Champagne cave and then filled the remaining slots with safe bets.
By-the-glass specifics weren't available at time of review, which is a real gap for a place calling itself a wine café. If the pour program mirrors the bottle list, you'd hope to see a Champagne or two available by the glass alongside the Sauvignon Blanc trio — but we can't confirm that's the case. Worth asking your server directly before you commit to a bottle.
Roederer Estate Brut — $58
Anderson Valley's finest house makes this NV Brut, and at $58 it's the smartest entry point into the sparkling section — real Champagne-house pedigree at a fraction of the prestige-cuvée prices on this list.
Loriot-Pagel Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2020
At $220, this grower Champagne from Verzenay sits in the shadow of the Dom and the Krug, but it's the most interesting bottle on the list for anyone who actually cares about terroir. Blanc de Blancs from a single grand cru village, and most tables will walk right past it.
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2025
At $60 a bottle, you're paying a hefty premium for a label that's been coasting on its 1990s reputation for years. The Archetype at $38 or even the Craggy Range at $52 give you more for less.
Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve Special Edition + Charcuterie board
Charles Heidsieck's Brut Réserve is one of the most food-friendly Champagnes you can buy — rich, toasty, and with enough body to stand up to cured meats and aged cheeses without steamrolling them. At $148, it's the move if you're settling in for a longer night.
The Bottom Line
The Living Room is worth a visit if you're after serious Champagne in a city that rarely bothers — just don't expect the rest of the list to keep up. Come for the bubbles, order accordingly.
Downtown Chandler · Chandler · Wine bar / small plates
BlackSheep is the kind of neighborhood wine bar that punches above its zip code — daily deals, a genuinely curious regional list, and a casual atmosphere that makes wine feel accessible rather than intimidating. If you're anywhere near downtown Chandler, this is the move for a weekday afternoon glass.

· Chandler · Steakhouse
Perry's Chandler is a reliable wine stop for a steakhouse night — 37 by-the-glass options and a solid sparkling section save it from being boring, but the markups and crowd-pleaser roster keep it from being great. Order the Tempranillo or Crémant and you'll drink well; chase the familiar California labels and you'll pay for the brand name, not the wine.

· Chandler · Japanese teppanyaki
Benihana Chandler's wine list won't blow your mind, but it's functional and has a few genuine bright spots buried under the crowd-pleasers. If you're here for the show, grab the Rochioli or the Balland Sancerre and enjoy the flying shrimp.

· Chandler · Wine Bar / American Small Plates
The Wild Vine Uncorked has the aesthetic of a wine bar and the wine list of a casual chain restaurant — if you're coming specifically for the wine program, there's not enough here to justify the trip. Order the Craggy Range, enjoy your company, and recalibrate expectations.

Desert Ridge · Chandler · Hawaiian Fusion / Seafood
Roy's punches above its chain-restaurant weight with a wine list that has real picks across sparkling, white, and international categories — but steep markups on recognizable bottles mean you need to know where to look. Send your wine-curious friends here with a cheat sheet and they'll do just fine.

· Chandler · French steakhouse / bistro
A sparkling-only list in a French steakhouse sounds like a gimmick until you see Egly-Ouriet, Selosse, and Contratto sharing space with a $29 Moët. This is a genuinely unusual, thoughtfully assembled program that rewards curious drinkers — just know what you're walking into.

Napa Kitchen & Wine earns its place as a solid, unfussy option for anyone who wants a wide glass selection and fair pricing without committing to a bottle — just don't come here expecting to discover anything. It's a reliable pour, not a destination.
