Wingman Metrics
The Brazen Fox is a downtown White Plains sports bar doing exactly what it was built to do — pour cold beers, blast the game, and move bodies through the door. The wine list reads like an afterthought printed on the back of a coaster, and honestly, that checks out.
Eleven wines, all available by the glass, and every single one of them is a name you've seen at a grocery store endcap. Santa Rita 120, Mirrassou, Dark Horse, Beringer — this is the Mount Rushmore of mass-market, bulk-production wine. There's no real regional story being told here, just a checklist: one Chianti (Gabbiano), one Malbec (Alamos), one Riesling (Pacific Rim), done. La Crema Rosé is arguably the most credible bottle on the list, and that's a low bar. If you showed up hoping for a Burgundy or anything remotely interesting, wrong address.
All 11 wines are available by the glass, which sounds generous until you realize the entire list is by the glass. Prices run $9–$10, which is reasonable for the neighborhood and format — nobody's getting gouged here. Rotation appears nonexistent; this list is set and forgotten.
Alamos Malbec — $9/glass
Alamos is a dependable, fruit-forward Malbec from Mendoza that holds up next to a burger without embarrassing anyone. At $9 a glass, it's the most honest transaction on the list.
Pacific Rim Riesling
Nobody orders Riesling at a sports bar, which is exactly why you should. It's off-dry, lower in alcohol, and cuts through anything fried or spicy on the menu better than the Chardonnay will.
Beringer Chardonnay
Beringer's main-label Chardonnay is as generic as it gets — heavily oaked, sweet, and designed for volume, not flavor. Save the $10 for another beer.
Gabbiano Chianti + Pub Burger
Chianti's natural acidity and tart cherry bite cut right through a beef patty without competing with it. It's a classic Italian-red-meets-red-meat move, even if the setting is a White Plains bar with a DJ.
The Bottom Line
The Brazen Fox is a great place to watch a game and eat a burger — just don't come here for the wine list. Order a craft beer, save the wine night for somewhere else.
· White Plains · Steakhouse
This appears to be a Restaurant Week wine promotion rather than Benjamin Steakhouse's full list, and we'd want to see a complete menu before rendering a final verdict on the overall program. Based on what's sourced here, though, the wine offering is thin for a steakhouse of this caliber — if you're coming for a serious bottle of Cab with your dry-aged ribeye, call ahead and ask what's actually on the full list.

· White Plains · Steakhouse
The Capital Grille Stamford isn't going to excite anyone who takes wine seriously, but it's not the embarrassment that many chain steakhouse lists are either. The Prüm Riesling and Substance Cab punch above their price points, and 23 BTG options gives you real flexibility. Just go in knowing the markups are aggressive and the list hasn't changed since someone in a corporate office approved it — probably over a Meiomi.

· White Plains · Italian
La Bocca is a polished, reservation-worthy Italian room in White Plains with a wine identity that leans on Italy's marquee regions — safe, serviceable, and priced for a special-occasion crowd. Until we can get eyes on the actual list and confirm what's pouring, we'd treat the wine program as a pleasant companion to the food rather than a destination in its own right. Ask the staff for their recommendation and see what happens.

Bronxville · White Plains · Wine Bar & Small Plates
Ernie's is the kind of neighborhood wine bar Westchester needs more of: unpretentious, genuinely wine-forward, and priced like they actually want you to order a second glass. If you're in the area on a weekday, hit that happy hour window and settle in.

· White Plains · Spanish tapas & wine bar
Buleria is doing the right things — an actual Spanish-leaning list at fair prices in a market that could easily get away with slapping Malbec and Pinot Grigio on a page and calling it done. It's not a destination wine list, but it's a genuinely solid one, and that's worth something.

White Plains · White Plains · Persian & Mediterranean Wine Bar
Shiraz Kitchen is the kind of unexpected wine find that makes suburban dining worth exploring — a Persian restaurant in White Plains with an honest, curious wine list and glass pour access to nearly everything on it. If you're in Westchester and tired of the same old Chardonnay-and-Cabernet loop, this is your move.

Downtown Atlanta · Atlanta · American
Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta's wine list is a Lazy List by every measure — grocery store brands, steep markups, no specials, and a rotating staff with little incentive to know what's in the glass. If you're here for the memorabilia and the atmosphere, lean into a cocktail or a beer. If wine is non-negotiable, the Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling or Columbia Crest Cab will get you through the night without regret.

The real headline here is Friday: half-price bottles under $250, which is a legitimately good deal in any zip code. Add a sommelier in a neighborhood grill context and Tin Cup earns a look that most Cumming restaurants don't. We'd go in on a Friday, ask for a recommendation, and let the staff do their job — that's what they're there for.

· Wichita · American
Dave & Buster's Wichita is not a wine destination — and the list makes no attempt to pretend otherwise. Fourteen labels of grocery-store standbys, no pricing transparency, and a venue where the primary business is flashing screens and redemption tickets means the wine program is essentially decorative. Order the cocktail, feed the machine, save the bottle for literally anywhere else.
