Terra's wine list is short — eleven bottles, all poured by the glass, no bottle service in sight. That's a bold call, and honestly, we respect the honesty of it. No dusty cellar, no bottle-shock roulette, just a tight menu that knows what it is.
Eleven wines by the glass covering all the bases: a bubble trio (Mionetto Prosecco, Sparkling Pointe Rosé, Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne), a couple of whites, a rosé, and four reds. The geography is eclectic in a quiet way — Long Island shows up twice with Raphael Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc and Macari Vineyards Bordeaux Blend, which is a pleasant surprise in a South Carolina dining room. Chalk Hill Chardonnay and Banshee Cabernet round out the California contingent, while Evolution Pinot Noir flies the Pacific Northwest flag. It's not deep, but it's reasonably considered.
Since the entire program is by the glass, you're getting the full picture right here. Prices run $13 to $26, with the entry-level whites and reds at $13 and the Champagne topping the list at $26. The Sparkling Pointe Carnaval Rosé at $22 is the most interesting glass on the board — a genuine sparkling rosé from the North Fork of Long Island that you don't see often.
Banshee Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 — $15/glass
Banshee is a solid Sonoma producer and $15 a glass for their Cabernet is a fair ask — you're getting a properly made, fruit-forward California Cab without paying premium-label prices.
Macari Vineyards Bordeaux Blend 2020
Long Island Bordeaux blends are chronically underestimated. Macari is one of the North Fork's best producers, and most diners at a Columbia restaurant will walk right past this $18 glass without a second look. Their loss.
Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne
At $26 a glass, you're paying a steep per-pour premium for a large négociant house that's fine but hardly special. The Sparkling Pointe Rosé at $22 is a more interesting bottle and a smarter spend.
Chateau Sainte Marguerite Mourvedre & Grenache Rosé 2022 + Southern-influenced seafood or pork dishes
A Provence rosé built on Mourvèdre and Grenache has the structure to handle richer Southern preparations — think pork tenderloin or shrimp with a little heat — without getting steamrolled.
The Bottom Line
Terra keeps it simple with an all-by-the-glass format, fair pricing, and a few genuinely interesting picks tucked inside a short list. It won't satisfy anyone looking for a deep cellar dive, but it absolutely does the job for a New American dinner in Columbia.

Jonathan at Gratz Park is the kind of reliable wine room you'd expect from a historic inn with a real sommelier — competent, well-stocked, and leaning safe. Pricing is on the steeper side and the list won't surprise you, but in Lexington, this is still one of the better places to order a full bottle with dinner.
