Tucked inside the Vail Mountain Lodge on East Meadow Drive, Terra Bistro reads as the kind of room where people actually linger over a second bottle. The atmosphere is romantic and unhurried — polished without being stiff — and the wine program reflects that same sensibility.
The list leans into familiar territory for an upscale mountain dining room, with reported anchors in California, Bordeaux, and Portugal. That's a coherent trio — crowd-pleasing enough for the ski-trip crowd, with enough Old World depth to keep things interesting. A sommelier on staff suggests there's real intent behind the selections, not just a hotel distributor default drop. That said, we don't have full list access, so we can't confirm how far that depth actually runs.

Turf. Kitchen + Tap looks like a solid resort wine program — broad enough geographically to suggest some genuine effort, casual enough in setting that nobody's going to quiz you on your order. We'd feel comfortable sending a friend here for a relaxed dinner with a decent glass of wine, but we'd stop short of calling it a destination for the list itself. Come for the views and the Choriqueso; the wine will take care of itself.
