Wingman Metrics
Fifteen labels is a tight list, but Sulit isn't trying to be a cellar — it's trying to be a mood. The whole program leans hard into European whites, sparkling, and lighter reds, which is a deliberate call in a market full of big-bottle steakhouse lists. That focus earns immediate respect.
The list skips California entirely and plants its flag in Italy, France, and Spain — Zeni's Soave and Custoza, Ciu Ciu's Oris from Le Marche, Theo Cattin et Fils Alsatian Riesling, and Canals & Munne Cava anchor a genuinely coherent point of view. The red side is thinner: a 1270 Red at $75 and a European Red Flight are essentially your options outside of the Brachetto d'Acqui. The 1270 bottles sit at the top of the price range without much context about what's inside, which is a bit of a leap of faith. Whites and sparkling are clearly where the kitchen is.
Eleven of fifteen labels pour by the glass, which is an unusually high conversion rate for a short list — and a sign that Sulit actually wants you drinking, not just browsing. The $12 Canals & Munne Cava is the entry point, and the $30 wine flights (one red, one white) give you a structured way to explore if you're new to the program. Glass prices run $12–$20 for most options, which is honest for Alpharetta.
The Bottom Line
Sulit is doing something quietly unusual in Alpharetta: committing to a European-focused, white-wine-forward list in a market that typically defaults to domestic Cabernet and Chardonnay. The list is small, but it's curated with a point of view — and the by-the-glass ratio means you can explore without committing to a bottle. If you're tired of the same suburban wine bar experience, this one's worth a detour.

Alpharetta · Alpharetta · Italian
Fiorenza's wine list punches above its weight for an Alpharetta Italian spot — the Italian focus is focused and honest, the by-the-glass program is genuinely broad, and the pricing stays mostly fair. If you're eating here, skip the safe Pinot Grigio and work your way through the more interesting Italian options the list quietly hides in plain sight.

Campania keeps it short and Italian, which we respect. The list won't win any awards for depth, but the Pelissero Nebbiolo and Borgo Tesis Sauvignon show genuine curation in a sea of predictable neighborhood lists. If you want a solid glass of wine with your pasta and you're not looking for a 10-page binder, this gets the job done.

· Alpharetta · French/European
OneDayinParis is doing something uncommon in the suburbs: saying no to everything that doesn't belong. A four-wine list sounds like a limitation, but when the four wines are Sancerre, Premier Cru Chablis, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Champagne at reasonable prices, it reads more like confidence. If you want range, look elsewhere — if you want a focused, well-chosen French glass with your dinner, this is a genuine find in Alpharetta.

· Alpharetta · Steakhouse
The Butcher and Bottle isn't trying to be a wine destination — it's a steakhouse with a sensible, well-priced list that keeps things moving. The near-total by-the-glass program is genuinely smart, and the pricing is fairer than most places in this category. If you want adventure, look elsewhere; if you want a reliable Cab with your ribeye at a price that won't ruin the evening, this works.

CRU is a perfectly serviceable wine bar if you like California classics and don't mind paying for the reputation on the label. The list won't surprise you, and that's exactly the point — but don't come here looking for natural wine, deep Burgundy, or anything that requires a passport beyond Napa Valley. If you're in Alpharetta and want a glass of Silver Oak without a long drive, CRU delivers.

Connors is a reliable steakhouse wine list that does its job without embarrassing itself or dazzling anyone. The by-the-glass count is a genuine bright spot, markups are steep but consistent with the category, and the selection covers the bases its clientele expects. Send a friend here if they want a solid glass of California Cab with their ribeye — just don't send them expecting anything they haven't already seen.

Concourse T · Atlanta · Wine Bar
Vino Volo earns its Wild Card badge not by being a great wine bar in the abstract, but by being a genuinely decent one inside one of the world's busiest airports. Markup will be airport markup — accept that going in — but the international reach on the list and the half-price Tuesday glass program show more care than the setting demands. If you're killing time at Concourse T and you care even a little about what's in your glass, this is where you should be sitting.

Buckhead · Atlanta · Wine Bar
Vine & Tap earns its Wild Card badge by doing something rare in Buckhead: pointing the list toward places most wine bars won't bother with, like Lebanon and Friuli, and keeping entree prices under $20 so the wine spend can actually shine. If you're in the neighborhood on a Wednesday, the half-price flight situation makes this an easy yes — show up, explore something you've never heard of, eat some octopus, and leave having learned something.

· La Crosse · Wine Bar
The Wine Guyz earns its Wild Card badge by being something La Crosse didn't necessarily need but clearly does: a real wine bar with range, a relaxed atmosphere, and food that goes beyond bar snacks. We'd send a curious wine drinker here without hesitation — just go in ready to ask questions, since the list doesn't live online and the real program reveals itself in person.
