Josh Cellars is grocery store wine that restaurants routinely mark up to a price point where you're paying $40+ for something you could grab at Kroger for $12. The Louis Jadot Mâcon-Villages 2021 is right there on the same list and it's a better Chardonnay in every way.
Joel et Sylvie Cirotte Sancerre 2022 + Fresh seafood or herb-forward appetizer
Sancerre's bright acidity and saline mineral edge make it a natural foil for anything light and briny. On a New American bistro menu, it'll cut through richness and lift whatever it touches. It's the most impressive bottle on this list — worth ordering early.
