Eight-plus Champagne labels greet you near the top, and there's enough recognizable names to feel reassuring without ever feeling adventurous. This is a list built for celebration, not exploration.
Eighty labels sounds substantial until you notice how much real estate goes to sparkling — Dom Pérignon, Billecart-Salmon, Veuve Clicquot, Perrier-Jouët, Taittinger, Delamotte, and G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge are all present, which reads more like a curated Champagne bar than a full wine program. The still wine side leans safe: Honig Sauvignon Blanc, Frank Family Chardonnay, Saintsbury Carneros, and Louis-Jadot Pouilly-Fuissé are crowd-pleasing picks with proven track records, but there's no real reach toward natural wine, grower Champagne, or anything south of France beyond the Miraval rosé. We wouldn't send a serious wine drinker here as a primary destination, but if you're already in Old Town and curious about what local winemaking looks like when grapes aren't the star, it's worth a tasting flight. Go in with the right expectations and you'll leave entertained; go in looking for a Côte de Nuits and you'll leave confused.
