Wingman Metrics
Eight wines. That's the whole list. Walk-On's is first and foremost a sports bar, and the wine program makes absolutely no effort to pretend otherwise. This is a place where beer and cocktails run the show, and wine was clearly added because someone had to check a box.
The entire selection reads like a grocery store endcap that hasn't been restocked since 2018: La Marca Prosecco, Chloe Rosé, Banfi Le Rime Pinot Grigio, Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, Meiomi Pinot Noir, Josh Cabernet Sauvignon, and Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon. Every single label is a mass-market national brand — the kind of wines you recognize because you've seen them at every chain restaurant from here to Orlando. There is no regional character, no producer story, no nod to anything beyond maximum brand recognition. Two Cabernets occupy a quarter of the list, which tells you everything about the ambition level here.
We don't have confirmed glass pour pricing or confirmed by-the-glass breakdown for this location, so we can't tell you what you'll pay per pour. What we can say is that with only eight labels total, there's essentially nowhere to hide — what's on the list is what you're getting, and the ceiling is low.
The Bottom Line
Walk-On's is a perfectly decent sports bar for Cajun food and cold beer — just don't come here for the wine. Eight grocery-store labels with no pricing transparency and zero curation is a wine program in name only. Order the cocktail, order the beer, and save your wine night for somewhere that actually cares.
· Arlington · Italian
Piccolo Mondo punches above its Arlington zip code with a genuinely Italy-forward wine list that includes some names worth ordering. We'd love to see pricing and by-the-glass details more clearly published — and without knowing the markups, we can't fully endorse the value play — but the producer selection alone puts this ahead of most neighborhood Italian spots in the DFW suburbs. If you're going, head straight for the Tuscan reds and don't look back.

Cane Rosso Arlington's wine list is the restaurant equivalent of a reliable wingman — not the most exciting person in the room, but it shows up, it's priced honestly, and it won't let you down. Send a friend here for pizza and point them toward the San Felice.

Scutra won't blow a wine nerd's mind, but it's a genuinely solid neighborhood list with a few real finds tucked in. Skip the Josh Cellars, order the Guigal or the Sancerre, and you'll eat and drink well.

Chill Coffee and Wine Bar does exactly what it promises — a relaxed, approachable spot to drink something decent without overthinking it. Send a friend here for a casual Tuesday night out; just don't send them expecting a cellar selection.

Poured is the kind of neighborhood wine bar that Arlington didn't know it needed — fair prices, a rotating BTG board that rewards repeat visits, and zero attitude. We'd send a friend here on a weeknight without hesitation.

Cafe Americana is a solid spot for a burger and a cold beer, but the wine list exists purely out of obligation. Stick to the Cava, avoid the Champagne at all costs, and save your serious wine night for somewhere that actually cares.
