Wingman Metrics
You walk into Rocco's and immediately understand the assignment: tequila, margaritas, tableside guacamole, and a party. The wine list is there the way a spare tire is there — technically present, hopefully never needed. Twelve labels, almost no story, and a $5 house pour that tells you everything you need to know about how seriously this place takes its wine program.
Twelve labels deep and it reads like the bottom shelf of a grocery store wine aisle — domestic house selections leaning California, nothing adventurous, nothing that would make a wine drinker slow down and pay attention. There's no regional narrative here, no interesting producers, no Old World counterweight. The list exists to check a box, and it checks exactly that box and nothing more. If you came for wine, you came to the wrong party.
All twelve options are available by the glass, which sounds generous until you realize the anchor of the program is a $5 house Chardonnay, a $5 house Pinot Grigio, and a $5 house Cabernet Sauvignon. At five bucks a pour, expectations should be calibrated accordingly — these are utility wines, not conversation starters. There's no rotation, no discovery, no reason to order a second glass instead of just getting a margarita.
House Pinot Grigio — $5
If you insist on wine here, the house Pinot Grigio is your safest move — light, inoffensive, and cold enough to survive a Florida summer patio. At $5 it's hard to feel burned.
House Chardonnay
Not hidden so much as ignored — most people at Rocco's are drinking margaritas and they're right to do so, but if someone at the table wants wine and not tequila, a $5 Chardonnay alongside the tableside guac is at least an honest, low-stakes move.
House Cabernet Sauvignon
A Cab at a loud tequila bar is a swing that almost never connects. The house red here has no context, no food to really anchor it, and the festive, spice-forward menu isn't doing it any favors. Just get a margarita.
House Pinot Grigio + Tableside Guacamole
The crisp, neutral character of the house Pinot Grigio at least won't fight the bright lime and cilantro in the guac. It's not a pairing you'd write home about, but it's the least wrong option on the list for the most iconic dish at the table.
The Bottom Line
Rocco's is a genuinely fun restaurant — just not a wine destination by any stretch. Drink the tequila, enjoy the guac, and save your wine ambitions for somewhere that shares them.
Palm Beach Gardens · West Palm Beach · Steakhouse
The Capital Grille Palm Beach Gardens is a reliable wine stop if you're already there for the steak — just don't expect the list to excite you. Lean toward the glass pours, chase the value picks, and avoid the temptation to drop $30 on that Orin Swift.

Worth Avenue · West Palm Beach · French / Bistro
Le Bilboquet Palm Beach is a safe, French-focused list that suits its dressed-up crowd without pushing anyone toward something new or surprising. Send a friend here for the vibe and the steak frites — just go in knowing the wine spend will feel steeper than it probably should.

· West Palm Beach · Wine Bar / Tasting Room
If you want to spend an afternoon actually understanding Willamette Valley wine across a single focused producer, there's no better setup in West Palm Beach. Just don't show up expecting a world tour — this room has a point of view and it's Oregon, all the way down.

· West Palm Beach · Italian
Cafe Sapori's wine list is a reliable Italian-leaning companion — not adventurous, not cheap, but curated enough that the right picks reward you. Skip the Whispering Angel, dig into the Tuscans, and you'll leave satisfied.

· West Palm Beach · New American
Kitchen West Palm has no business having the Casanova di Neri Brunello and the Ménard-Geborit Muscadet on the same 13-bottle list — and yet here we are. It's small, priced fairly, and clearly curated by someone who actually drinks wine. Send a friend, order the Ridge.

· West Palm Beach · Wine Bar / Lounge
Le Bar is a stripped-down concept that works because the six bottles it chose are actually worth drinking — unusual for a lounge where wine is often an afterthought. If you want depth, go elsewhere. If you want a smart glass of something Italian while you decompress, this earns its keep.

· Sedona · Mexican
89Agave is almost certainly a fun spot to eat — it's a cantina in Sedona, and the margaritas are probably doing the heavy lifting here anyway. The wine list, though, is purely functional and priced without much generosity, particularly at the higher end. If wine matters to your evening, order something simple by the glass and move on; this program isn't the reason to visit.

Casa Tios is a Mexican restaurant that serves wine because people ask for it, not because anyone here is passionate about it. Order the margarita, or lean into the sangria — and save your serious wine night for somewhere else.

Mi Cocina McKinney put exactly zero thought into their wine program, and it shows in every predictable bottle on that nine-label list. Order a margarita and don't look back.
