Wingman Metrics
Palmer's wine list doesn't try to be clever — it just works. Thirty-two labels organized into sensible categories (whites, reds, unique bottles under $50, splurge worthy) with glass pours capped at $17 tells you this place respects the casual diner's wallet. It's not flashy, but it's not lazy either.
The list covers the expected bases — California Pinot Noir and Cab, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Italian bubbles — but there are enough left-field picks to make it interesting. A Chaxto Tempranillo, a Kettimer Pinot Bianco, Vinos Marinos Albariño, and a Ventisei Toscana Rosso give the list genuine range beyond the usual suspects. The 'Unique Bottles Under $50' section is doing real work here, nudging curious drinkers toward bottles they'd never order otherwise. The Riesling Kabinett from Karl Kasper and a Weingut Grüner Veltliner show that someone put actual thought into the white wine side.
Fifteen by-the-glass options is generous for a restaurant this size, running $10–$17/glass with solid coverage across sparkling, white, rosé, and red. Lunetta Prosecco anchors the low end at $10/glass, while Bryn Mawr Pinot Noir tops the list at $17. The glass-to-bottle pricing math is consistent — roughly a quarter-bottle markup — which is reasonable and not punishing.
The Bottom Line
Palmer's is exactly what Peachtree City needs — a thoughtful, fairly priced wine list that doesn't condescend to its guests or gouge them. The Unique Bottles section and the Riesling-Grüner pairing show real curation. If you're in the area and want something interesting without a fight, this list will take care of you.

Grinds & Wines is the kind of place Peachtree City genuinely needs — a locally owned room that takes wine seriously without making it precious. We'd feel comfortable sending a friend here for a date night or a quiet weeknight glass, especially given the menu's range from fish tacos to lamb chops. That said, we'd love to see the list published properly so we can give it the full treatment it likely deserves.

Pascal's Bistro earns its keep as a reliable neighborhood wine stop — nothing flashy, but the regional range is appropriate and the Wednesday $6 wine promotion is the kind of deal that quietly makes a restaurant a regular habit. We'd send a friend here for a midweek dinner without hesitation, and encourage them to call ahead and ask what's pouring by the glass that night.

Georgia Shrimp Company earns its reputation on the food side — the Creole gumbo and seafood medley are clearly the draw here, not the wine list. If you're coming for a proper bottle with dinner, call ahead and ask what they have open; otherwise, lean on a cocktail or whatever white is available by the glass and let the kitchen do the talking. We'd send a friend here for the shrimp without hesitation, but not for the wine program.

J. Alexander's Peachtree City isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's trying harder than it has to — 74 labels, fair markups, and a sparkling section that would embarrass some dedicated wine bars. If you're here for a steak dinner and want a bottle that doesn't insult your intelligence or your wallet, the Gruet or the Lucien Albrecht Crémant will take good care of you. Send a friend here without guilt, just manage expectations: this is a reliable neighborhood call, not a revelation.

Elliott's punches well above its suburban strip-mall address with a 72-bottle list, a real sparkling program, and by-the-glass options that actually reward attention. Markups look fair across the board, and the Riesling depth alone is worth noting in a town where most restaurants hand you a Kendall-Jackson and call it a day. If you're heading here for a special occasion dinner, skip the Moët, grab the Eroica or the Sancerre, and eat the fried chicken. You'll leave happy.

Parkside at The Grove isn't trying to be a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — but the list is fairly priced, almost entirely available by the glass, and covers enough ground to keep most tables happy. If you're in Snellville and want a solid pour without a headache, this works.

Antebellum is playing wine-list defense, not offense — the selections are safe, the sparkling section is the clear highlight, and pricing data is absent so we can't fully vouch for value. That said, 67 labels with producers like Gonet-Médéville and Stags' Leap in Flowery Branch, GA earns genuine respect. Worth a visit; just go in knowing what to order.

Roshambo isn't trying to be a wine destination, but it's putting in real effort — fair markups, a deep by-the-glass program, and a few genuinely interesting bottles mixed in with the crowd-pleasers. If you're eating here, skip the Moët, pour the Keplinger, and thank whoever curated the whites. A solid, trustworthy list that earns a return visit.
