The wine list at Oaxaca is clearly not the main event — this is a cantina, and tequila is the star. But flip past the margarita section and you'll find a compact, no-nonsense list that won't embarrass you. At $8–$14 a glass, nobody's getting gouged.
About a dozen bottles cover the familiar bases: Washington state Riesling and Cab, a Malbec from Argentina, a trio of Torres Spanish wines, and the inevitable California Chardonnay. The Torres presence is the most interesting thread here — Vina Sol, Sangre de Toro, and Ibericos Rioja give the list a mild Spanish accent that actually makes sense given the cuisine. There's even a local Arizona Pinot Noir from Alias, which is a quiet nod to the state's growing wine scene. Gaps are real though — no sparkling, no rosé, and the house wines (unnamed Chard, Cab, Merlot, White Zin) are a reminder that this list wasn't curated by someone losing sleep over it.
Everything on the list is available by the glass, which is genuinely useful at a casual spot where nobody's committing to a bottle over chips and salsa. The $8–$14 range is honest for Uptown Sedona, where tourist pricing can get ugly fast. Rotation appears nonexistent — what's on the menu is what's on the menu.
Torres 'Ibericos' Rioja — $13
Torres makes reliable, food-friendly Tempranillo at this tier, and Rioja with Mexican food is an underrated move — the earthy red fruit plays well with chile-forward dishes without trampling them.
Alias Pinot Noir, Arizona
Most people at this table are ordering Coronas or frozen margs, so the local Arizona Pinot Noir just sits there, ignored. Arizona wine is genuinely worth exploring, and this is a low-stakes way to try it.
House White Zinfandel
An unnamed house White Zin at a Mexican cantina is the wine list equivalent of a participation trophy. Skip it, spend two more dollars, and get the Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling instead.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling + Chile Verde
The Chile Verde brings heat and tomatillo brightness — the Ste. Michelle Riesling's off-dry stone fruit and clean acidity cool things down without getting in the way. It's the most functional pairing on the menu.
The Bottom Line
Oaxaca isn't a wine destination, and it doesn't pretend to be — come for the rooftop patio, the margaritas, and the chile verde. But the list is priced fairly, the Torres and Ste. Michelle picks are dependable, and you won't regret a glass of Rioja with your enchiladas.

Yavapai is a reliable resort wine program done right — proper storage, knowledgeable staff, and a list that won't embarrass anyone. The markups are real and the list plays it safe, but if you lean into the Arizona selections and order smart, you'll drink well with one of the more dramatic backdrops in the American Southwest.

The Wine Deck at Hideaway House isn't winning any cellar awards, but it's doing more than most Sedona tourist spots bother to do — a local Arizona bottle, some genuine Italian representation, and nearly everything pourable by the glass. Come for the view, stay for the Tumbleweed Willy.

The Hudson's wine lounge is a reliable, comfortable spot that plays it safe and plays it well — you won't be surprised, but you won't be disappointed either. If you're looking for adventure in a glass, you'll need to look elsewhere; if you want a solid pour with one of the better views in Sedona, this does the job.

Come for the creek views and the fish tacos — they've earned that reputation. But when the wine list tops out at nine labels and leans on 3-4x markups for mid-shelf grocery store picks, you're better off ordering a margarita and saving the wine for dinner somewhere else in Sedona.
