This Table 301 gastropub is the casual-meets-curated choice on Main Street. Wine selections are hand-picked to complement fried chicken and waffles, deviled eggs, mac and cheese, and their legendary burgers. The list is intentionally approachable: well-selected Pinot Noir, Malbec, and a rotating by-the-glass white at prices designed for weeknight drinking.
The pet-friendly patio on Main Street is ideal for people-watching with a glass in hand. The craft beer and cocktail programs are equally strong. This is not the place for a deep dive into natural wine. It's the place where a good glass of wine makes a great burger better.
Nose Dive doesn't try to be a wine destination. It curates a tight, well-priced selection that complements comfort food. Part of the Table 301 family, so the beverage buying benefits from Joe Crossnan's broader expertise. Solid without pretending to be something it's not.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Nose Dive does what a gastropub wine list should: curate a tight selection, price it fairly, and pair it with food that makes you happy. The Table 301 pedigree shows in the buying.
Downtown Greenville · Greenville · Greek and Mediterranean
Kouzina is a counter-service gyro spot with a Greek wine list that would embarrass a lot of full-service restaurants — that's the Wild Card situation right there. If you're anywhere near Greenville and curious about what Greece actually tastes like in a glass, this is a weirdly perfect place to find out.

The Jones Oyster Co. is doing something genuinely thoughtful with wine in a market that doesn't always demand it, and the Loire-forward approach earns real respect. It's not a destination wine list, but if you're eating oysters in downtown Greenville, you're in good hands.

Ruth's Chris Greenville is a reliable machine — the wine list won't challenge you, staff won't geek out with you, and you'll probably pay more than you should. But if you want a well-stored Napa Cab with a perfect ribeye and zero surprises, it delivers every time.

Firebirds is a reliable wine stop if you're already there for dinner and want something familiar done reasonably well — just don't expect the list to challenge or surprise you. Send a friend here for the filet; warn them to skip the Chardonnay markup.

Larkin's on the River is a reliable spot if you want a crowd-pleasing California Cab with your steak and don't mind paying a premium for the Falls Park backdrop. Don't come expecting the wine list to surprise you — come for the river view and order the Jordan.

Soby's has one of the most legitimately impressive wine programs in the entire Southeast, and the fact that it's anchored in Greenville rather than a major metro makes it worth a detour on its own. If you're anywhere near South Carolina and you care about wine, you owe yourself a seat at this table.

The Brass Tap Round Rock isn't trying to be a wine destination, and the wine list reflects that with complete honesty. Order the beer, or if you're committed to wine, grab the Oyster Bay and make peace with your surroundings.

Thirsty Lion isn't a wine destination — it's a pre-show pit stop with a decent enough list and markups that won't insult you. Come on a Wednesday, order a bottle of Meiomi at half price, eat a burger, and catch your show. That's the move.

Armsby Abbey is not a wine destination — it's a world-class beer bar that stocks a wine list so no one at the table feels left out. Respect it for what it is, lean into the Garnacha or the Prosecco, and spend the rest of your mental energy on the tap list.
