You walk into what looks like a casual gyro spot in a St. George strip mall and then someone hands you a wine card with Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill 2012 on it. That's the kind of cognitive dissonance that makes us actually love this place. It shouldn't work, and yet here we are.

Sixty-six labels is legitimately ambitious for a fast-casual Mediterranean joint, and Meraki earns points for leaning into Greek producers where others wouldn't bother — the Ktima Biblia Chora Areti Assyrtiko and the Domaine Costa Lazaridi Chateau Julia Agiorgitiko give the list real identity. There's a sparkling section that punches well above the restaurant's price point, with J. Lassalle Premier Cru and Pol Roger's flagship prestige cuvée sitting alongside Gruet and a couple of Proseccos. The Italian and Slavic entrants — Ornellaia Le Volte, the Tenute Poggiocaro Governo all'Uso Toscano, and the Imenie Sicora Gerts Semigorie — add eclectic range that you simply don't expect here. The Berdashen Pomegranate Wine is either a genius move or a fever dream, but either way it belongs on a Greek menu.

Sixteen by-the-glass options is a solid count for this format, and the range hits Champagne, sparkling, white, red, and non-dry categories — so you're not stuck choosing between Prosecco and house Cab. The Assyrtiko by the glass is the real draw here; it's a grape that fits the cuisine perfectly and rarely shows up on lists in southern Utah.
