You open the wine list at Marc Bar & Restaurant and quickly realize this isn't a wine list so much as a Chateau Elan catalog — every single label on the menu is estate-produced right here on property. It's a bold, unapologetic commitment to local. Whether that excites or alarms you will depend heavily on your relationship with Georgia wine.
All 32 labels are Chateau Elan productions, spanning estate Reserves, the Fingerprint Collection, D.O.C.G.-labeled Italian-style bottlings, and a row of Muscadine-based bottles like Berry Bliss and Tropical Breeze that make no apologies for what they are. The Fingerprint Collection anchors the serious end of the list — the Nancy and the Petite Sirah represent the estate's most intentional winemaking. The D.O.C.G. Moscato and Dolce Rosso add a touch of Italian legitimacy to a list that otherwise lives entirely in its own regional universe. If you came hoping for a Napa Cab or a Burgundy, you are deeply in the wrong place.
Remarkably, every single bottle on the list is also available by the glass, which gives diners full flexibility to explore the range without committing to a full pour. Prices run $7 to $19 per glass, which is genuinely reasonable for an on-site winery program. The American Port is the lone exception — bottle only at $52.
The Bottom Line
Marc Bar & Restaurant is essentially the estate dining room of Chateau Elan winery, and the wine list makes no attempt to be anything else — every pour is an in-house production. If you're already on property and curious about Georgia wine, the pricing is fair and the by-the-glass availability across the full list is genuinely guest-friendly. But if you're traveling specifically for a serious wine experience alongside your steak, this list will leave you wanting.
